The truth is is that guy looks horrible. Notice how he's saying all of his problems are solved 7months after. HE COULD HAVE SOLVED THEM WITHOUT SURGERY. He's talking about walking an hour a day now. He could have done that before(slowly worked up to one hour.) High Cholesterol-stop eating so much meat and animal products. More vegetables instead. Type 2 Diabetes, Exercise and carb cut. (his case of:)Arthritis all previous advice+eliminate allergens from the diet. Acid reflux small meals-less oil
gofasternowadays, I find your comments intolerant and offensive. Weight loss is different for everyone. I'm willing to bet that this guy tried every form of exercise an diet before resorting to surgical help. Surgery doesn't solve it either, but it does help with the physiological sources for cravings and satiety. as for Diabetes, just diet and exercise will not reverse that chronic disease. Ryn and VSG are 2 of the only known ways to eliminate that disease.
I dont like the thought of having a band in me. But I am told with the band you lose slow enough that you wont have the excess skin problems. Do you have problems with extra skin with this surgery results?
Marshall444. The reaction of your skin to various surgeries is not valid nor is the "speed" of weight loss. Each individual will have problems with excess skin but men have much better luck than women in this regard. Thanks for commenting. Carl
Thank you for sharing your experience! It was very helpful, as many are trying to decide which route to go I will get the VSG, if covered by Medicare.
Great video....update is that insurance companies are now covering this surgery and are seeing how awesome this surgery is as a stand alone proceedure.
I'm just waiting for the surgery date.... I am excited and nervous at the same time... I can hardly wait to have the VSG done *_*
