@ChevyImpalaMan90 I guess the Sedans have a different mounting location then for the tip. on the Wagons the hanger is after the resonator. I'm planning on doing Series 40s, but leaving the resonators on to reduce any drone.
@chapel976 resonators will definitely reduce the sound level, didn't help me a whole lot with the drone. However, i've heard an x-pipe will work wonders with flowmaster muffs
my dad had a 98 GMC Sierra with Flowmaster 40 series on it,,, when i drove it sometimes,,, i would rev it to about 4500-5000 rmps and it would sound like a stock car!!! but over time it did get a deeper idle sound but when you opened it up she would SCREAM with the stock 350 Vortec motor! That truck also did great burnouts for the one right tire sp[inning. I myself did a HUGE burnout in that truck! Wish he wouldnt have sold it.
your car has big block is not it? impala like the year '96, I think it's got style, and how your exhaust it has a style more, cool, I would one day have a
I really couldn't tell you how much power it would have added. With the restriction of the resonators and stock mufflers gone it could be anything probably under 10 hP or so.
@YoungerPrice maybe but that's not why I wanted them... To me they sound amazing, i'm not going for a high horsepower car with this LT1 motor, so for now i'll settle for it sounding sick and not adding much power.
where did you install a hanger for the tip?

@chapel976 I was able to use the stock hanger location near the rear tires (as far as i'm aware, I'll check later to be sure)
