I feel very lucky to go to school there.

Most of my family came to this country threw Pier 21.

I just adore this song, it makes me want to cry, why? because my mum married my dad who was a Canadian soldier, their story is on the Pier21 website, mum was an english war bride.

And my maiden name is Gallant and yes Lennie is a cousin :) I have the cd of this beautiful song and never tire of it.

Hi Hilary. I am not a product of the War Brides but recently visited Pier 21 during my last trip to Halifax. I too am a Gallant from PEI currently living in Ottawa, Ontario. Yes Lennie is my cousin also.
