That's what I mean, like it's Bboy moves, not Hiphop moves. Cuz to me Bboying is it's own thing you know, cuz you can bboy to anything almost, it's not bounded by one genra of music, so when I saw that it said "hip hop moves" I think more like C-walk or stuff like that, but then I see a lot of stuff that comes from Bboy roots, yea they danced a lot to old school hip hop, but I didn't think it was only hip hop and it's very different from the way it is today.

yeah i feel you on that aye. but you can say that to any dance nowadays. bboying isn't just one genre its many because it is so flexible and there are many prime examples where there are dances put into new genres

- ballet : that'a in hip hop now isn't it? it use to be just done to classical now mixed in with hip hop musc so you can do it to that too.

-Martial arts : that wasn't even in a category untill they put it in with hip hop.

But just like you said, ballet in hip hop, or martial arts being used in dance, if you saw ballet or martial arts in a hip hop movie would say, "check out those hip hop moves" or would you give credit to where the moves are really from? That's all I'm saying cuz it seems these days people are knowing a little less of where stuff comes from.

there r plenty of good white dancers in my area, but they don't get coverage probly because they are white and aren't in gangs and therefore are not "gangsta" enough for mtv since mtv only cares about ratings, not actual talent. if you don't believe me, watch videos about "salah","mr. wiggles",and "gamblers crew" and then ask yourslef why you never see them on tv.
