they had a contract to guard US diplomats for the U.S. embassy in Iraq, from what i know is that they have lost the contract because of civilian deaths.

However clinton was very well informed on the activities of Al Quieda and Osama Bin Laden from day 1. I dont blame clinton b/c its hard to put yourself in the shoes of someone else. But after the first bombing in 1993 on the twin towers clinton had every resource available to eliminate Bin Laden and didnt.

I'm a military paralegal with three Iraq tours under my belt. These Blackwater dudes operated without the rules of engagement that we followed and didn't have the control or accountability that we had as Soldiers. We had to clean up a lot of the messes they made. They were quite a nuisance.

Personally, I'm glad for POG's. While I'm outside the wire, they're making sure I come home to a meal, they take care of our laundry, repair our vehicles, deliver our mail, make sure we get paid, get us home and back on R&R, stitch us up when we're wounded, drape flags on our fallen brother's coffins, provide our tv and internet.
