lol. JDS is amazing, but he and his fans are going to receive the rudest of awakenings. Is he a great boxer? Yes. Is he a top world level striker? No, not remotely. He looks great against mma strikers, but the best guy he faced (at striking) was a washed up Mirko. He's not nearly as slick a boxer as everyone says. He's FAST, powerful, and he's really smooth. However, his boxing isn't anything earth-shattering. He sneaks his uppercuts in real good, but that's it. K1 CHAMP is coming, so look out.

@206ernesto Indeed. Don't get me wrong, JDS is a great striker, but if he were on Overeem's level he'd be fighting Klitschko, or doing K1 himself. I agree, Overeem will be the champ for the next few years at least. There's some really good HWs out there, but I don't see JDS, Cain, Mir, Werdum, Barnett, Cormier or Hunt beating him.

Well I think Overeem comes from a company that had far better heavyweight fighters than UFC, IM not hating just saying, and I also think JDS is a great boxer , but OVEREEM is a better striker by far and has a decent ground game, we have no seen much of that on JDS'S side. it seems that there's a considerable different in weight but maybe dos santos has a better ground game. So I think Dos Santos, will have a prudent approach engaging ali on boxing, and eventually bring the match on the ground (even though he is a great striker, he can't be better than a K1 champion who knocked out Badr Hari)

Overeem looked like he was almost getting laid out by Werdum's striking - and by most accounts, Werdum is a second rate striker. JDS is faster, stronger, and has the BJJ if it comes down to it. Overeem will not be able to shrug off JDS's punches. I predict Overeem get's KO'ed in the early seconds of round 2.
