  • Pokie, pokie, pokie pokie.

  • Psychotic break is all I can say. This woman has gone off the deep end quite a while ago.

  • I have seen many horror movies in my day, but this clip beats them all hands down.

    SP is the fugliest !

  • 2.32...so true

  • Susan is the sexiest woman alive...

  • Again thank you for the follow up comment. Interviewing Susan seems to bring alot of responses from people who either like her and her advice or disagree. I don't follow her website so I am not up on postings by her or others. I'm not sure if low fat junk food is something she even uses as last I knew she was vegan and micro eating? To each their own. Fat as you are saying is healthy depending upon the food you are eating. You seem to have a great understanding of health- blessings Ramona

  • Thank you for your comments. I didn't take away from this interview the exact way you are looking at her approach but I agree that in general natural foods are better for the body and if processed many low fat foods are better then non low fat in some ways. Weight loss is a combination of things, emotional, why we eat, what we are eating, how we move about or don't and of course our genetics. thanks again for the comment.. Many Blessing - Ramona Pokoly of Ramona Interviews

  • Also a while back I watched a clip on youtube from Shopping with Susan Powter.

Through out the clip susan goes around the store putting low fat junk food, like chips, dips and ice cream in her shopping cart, passing up healthier fold like olives, salmon and olive oil just because they are high in fat.

That clip alone just proves why Susan Powter was nothing but a fad who no one who cares about health would take seriously.

People got sick of her silly advice and in your face attitude fast.

  • This woman has no credibility at all. It's amazing that someone who has no educated background could get such a huge following.

Her dietary advice was nothing uncommon or unique, it was like ever other diet at the time.

Anybody can look at her advice and see what a load of bs it was and still is.

"you can eat anything as long as it's low fat" That was commonly believed back in the 80's and 90's, but come on people that's just simply not true.

It's no wonder she was a fad and faded away.

  • i like the way she speak....hehehh

  • I agree she is the guru of fitness and her idea's are finally becoming mainstream we do need her back..

  • is it true, is she quiting fitness business and doing art- her website was terrible to navigate but I love her. Come back woman

  • Susan you look phenominal.

  • AWESOME woman!

  • @DancingChakra She is do Fab the message never gets old. Thanks for the shout out.

  • Strange

  • wear a damn bra...you need it love.

  • she's so beautiful.... I'm not talking about the physical. The energy she gives is wonderful and her delivery is astonishing. Even though my man and I are tight, she's right about independence. Some of us happily married women have let ourselves go and our brains get groggy too. Susan is such an inspiration. I'm going to get the book!

  • @missyandtom Life gets away from us and there are many people who remind us about what we really can be.. Susan is one of them. She is a peach and your right her energy is great. thanks for the comment.

  • @ramonainterviews hey, thanks for taking the time to reply! Have an excellent day. : )

  • @missyandtom You are sadly mistaken. She seems very hateful to me. I remember her program from the early ninties too. She said you could anything you wanted as long as it was low fat. Bread and pasta and potatoes are low fat. Ridiculous.

  • @TheClitmeister Well, I reckon opinions are like assholes. We all have one. You're right, I'm wrong - I'm right, you're wrong. Aw, who cares. I just know we are all evolving human beings. We get more information and act accordingly. I don't know anyone living their life according to what they thought in the 90's. I'd love to have her as a next door neighbor. I think she's pretty awesome.

  • God I love this woman

  • @LeeseeLee1 Don't you just... She was a blast to interview as well. I sincerely hope she get more tv coverage, get to O channel or anything Pro women.

  • @ramonainterviews Noway. Oprah wouldn't get NEAR this savage.

  • Liked what she was saying. But it ended oddly.

  • Some stuff was really good and she SOUNDED like and had expressions like Jillian Michaels!!!!!

  • Don't know how long Ms. Michaels has been into fitness or what her personal take maybe but she may be riding the same tide as Susan just coming after her. Fitness is so important to Women and there are many paths and approaches. Isn't that great!

  • Agreed!

  • She ADOPTED another baby.

  • I love Susan, but I'm sick of the poetry format in her writings on her site, and I'm sick of the nonsensical ramblings of the videos on her site. She has great things to say, and she's capable of saying them in a logical and coherent manner, and she's not doing it. I want the logical Susan to speak.

  • Thanks for the comment. I love Susan's message and I thought this interview picked some key points in a very logical way. For me her message is ahead of it time. People are getting it slowly but it's not as focused as her life experience has brough it to her. I truly wish she could bridge her knowledge into a tv show but gear it a little more to the positive flow. She is a beautiful person. This is not the first time I have heard such caring concerns. R-

  • I search and search for outside interviews and I can't find them. She's a million times more charming and effective when interacting with people than she is just rambling on her webcam and in those poetry structured responses. I'm disappointed, as well, in her abandonment of the alcoholism issue. She only talks about weight loss, and I think the info she brought out regarding addiction was MORE important. Makes me scratch my head, really.

  • It would be great if she did more one on one interviews or used a simular format to get her message out. I can't comment on other messages outside of our interview because I wasn't part of any but she is a great person. You should blog her or email, facebook her with your suggestions. Peace and light

  • I'm afraid to, but I might. I think she's great, too, by the way.

  • Maybe I will. I truly admire her and she's been a huge influence on me for, what, twenty years now? I really love her to death, but scratch my head sometimes. I'm sure some do the same regarding me. :)

  • But I may also have dandruff. ;p

  • You should join her website in the ning network. I love it..

  • Excellent message. She is RIGHT ON the MONEY!

  • We can see each other that way but the powers that direct don't always see it that way.

  • From 4:05 to 4:07 I do not agree. We need to work side by side as equals. That is what we are. Equal.

  • You so r0ck Susan!!!Keep up with the Great work you do for us mums and yes you still look ab fab you go gal
