i was 9 when they took us to the theatre in baumholder next to that taco bell and gym on base to watch this video. it seems like yesterday. lol my dad was a soldier in the video. i thought it was really cool hes the man at exactly 1:40. saying he liked the cam. SFC Guthrie. he just got back from his 3rd tour. Im 15 now and i still love watching this video and seeing all our soldiers!! May the ones in Iraq now return home safe...

i was working in the 2nd brigade dfac from 04 - 06 (around that time), i remember a lot of the people what were there! and a lot of fun happened with the ppl that where there, all i can say is thank you for serving the united states army! we were working for the dsg that time and saw a lot of people come and go. nice video work there!

I here you brother, I did a two year stretch in 91-92. The best weather on earth. Lets see if I can remember, cold, wet, cloudy, drunk, fights, article 15's. Yes it's all coming back now. Just remember it may seem like an eternity now but it will pass. At least you migh get to go to Iraq (much warmer there I hear) 8th ID/1st Arm Div.. D co. 4/12 Best of luck

Our son, Evan Bixler, served with the 1/6 in Baumholder & was deployed to Iraq in Oct '06 ~ he was KIA on 12/24/06. It's nice to see a bit of what he experienced in Iraq; especially the part of you guys having fun!
