@spiraldive2 Thanks for the comment and question. It's an old industry term that's been around for a while. Most people call it Paramotoring, or Powered Paragliding now. It also helps us to reach out to a broader audience. Take care and keep in touch!
@MyFatty69 The 2 stroke has by far the best power to weight ratio. Plus these motors are very reliable and simple so you don't really have any maintainence.
I DON'T GET IT, WHY ISN'T HE TAKING OFF, THE ROAD APPLICATION IS THE WEAKER PART OF THE WHOLE DESIGN, IT LOOKS LIKE A GREAT TRIKE, BUT THIS IS REDICULOUS, ITS A FLYER NOT A DRIVER, WHAT'S THE POINT, IF IT WERE A DRIVER IT WOULD NEED A LOT OF MODS
@whothehellgivesadamn This was the first test of the trike. You don't just go launch it without trying it out first. You drive it around to get a feel of the controls before you hook a glider to it. This video demonstrates the high speed stabililty which no other trike in this market has.
I want one but this is funny. This is on their web site, lol....$25 Self Training Package (Includes Get well card & flowers sent to room or next of kin)
lol, I'm glad you like that. I hope people get the point that training with usppa fakes or self training is not bright. It is very important to get with real instructors that have real USHPA instructor ratings. or you might just need those flowers sent to your room:).
You don't fear heights, you fear falling. You totally won't get that feeling with this sport. Too darn fun. Just click on my user name to go to my 140 videos. I have tons of seriously cool stuff including lots of the S-Trike in flight. Or call me at 800-707-2525 anytime and I'll be happy to tell you all about it. Dell
@nerblebun No there is no distance record for trikes that I know of past my whopping 101 miles. That would be very easy to beat but I don't know of anyone who has. Say when man and we'll get you flying like a bird. Dell
About $15,000 for everything you need including the glider and a reserve parachute. It is a total blast. My lake is frozen over and I'm on my way out to go blast accross the ice! Yahoo!!! Call me if you want one at 800-707-2525
No....wait now I'm curious, would it work? Or maybe not with my 8m but with my 17m Bomba? I'm not stupid, I'm not gonna go like do this, but this thing flies on damned near anything, I just need to know!
I haven't tried either of those, it depends on how efficent they are. I've flown the 11sm Morpheus but it has over a 9:1 glide ratio so it just barely has enough power to push it. 8sm isn't going to happen unless you get the new motor for it with extra power and I'm not sure about the bomba. The 11sm cruises at 45mph!!! Sweet!
Yes you could set it up with a hang glider. Cloth canopies are really nice though as you can stuff them in a duffle back, there are no moving parts or pins to forget on setting them up, it only takes about 60 seconds to get ready vs 30 minutes or more and now with the speed and glide ratio of high end paragliders there are not that many benefits left to hang gliders.
Yes it is a bit heavier than some PPG trikes but a ton lighter than a powered parachute. It is really a whole new class of ultralight. Fully featured but still super light at only 144 lbs including the most powerful Flat Top motor. No you don't need a larger glider, you could actually go to a smaller one which would give you more speed & stability. Call me and I'll tell you all about it. 801-631-1731.
Looks great. but why do you call it skydiving? skydiving is freefalling out of an aeroplane. this is paramoroting. :-)

Oh trust me, it has always been my DREAM to get my own flying craft and yet I'm fearful of heights so the right training will be in my plans.
This one looks to be a well made craft but are there videos of it actually flying?

I think that it isn't taking off because he isn't pulling back hard enough. Or maybe because it doesn't have a wing. It could be both.

cheesewhiz13 3 years ago
Wow, skydiving canopy! That would be one hell of a ride!
cheesewhiz13 3 years ago
Yes, I've also flown it with an 11sm paraglider and cruise speed is 45 mph:). It is very versitile.
imasuper0308 3 years ago
Do you have any videos of this flying?
cheesewhiz13 3 years ago
Yes, just go to the channel this video came from and there are 90 other videos of all sorts of cools things.
imasuper0308 3 years ago
So this can be used with the same wing I paraglide with?
cheesewhiz13 3 years ago
Yes no problem. Any paraglider and some skydiving canopies will work.

can this be used with a hang glider?

Looks kinda heavy. Heavier than the Trike Buggy. Would you have to move to a larger PPG canopy to fly it? (Don't know. I'm a trike pilot)
