my dad made a big table saw of sorts to rough cut planks like that in WA state. He has like a 12 or maybe its like 18 inch circular blade on it and then no motor, he just pulls one of his old case tractors up there and has a big belt and flywheel.. It's pretty impressive how much wood one guy can pump out in a day.. I'm impressed with your chainsaw abilities :)
Just sittin' here shakin' my head. I can't believe I just watched someone cut lumber with a chainsaw. That was great! (I don't know why I thought you could only cut lumber with a chainsaw, across the grain and not with it. ) My husbands always uses the chainsaw. I never have.
