  • esta rara esta version.. esta mas lenta :s

  • I haven't been to church in years, and I don't think I could call myself a christian. But, I fell in love with this song a LONG time ago...and I love it still. It's a beautiful song, and it's a really sweet song.

  • @BlueDottedDaisy Going to church is religion not being a Christian. Accepting Christ as your personal Savior is being a Christian. Dont get caught up in rituals and the rules that man tries to put on us in the name of Religion. Though we are suppose to assemble together for the purpose of praise and worship this is NOT a requirement to being a Christian. I will Pray for you. Love in Christ !!!!!!!

  • That is not the album cover for this song...

  • Why was there a Mormon commercial before this video? Mormons are NOT Christians!

  • i heard this song RIGHT when i parked in front of our apartment! i was like, "i'm gonna stay here for a little bit." i haven't heard this song in a long time <333

  • @kaitc0metrue Jesus would like you to know that He loves you and he is sorry you are hurting.

  • @KieraLuvz2Smylee Be specific.

  • @KieraLuvz2Smylee "bed"? You mean hell? Well, not that I really care that much any more, but your contradicting the book you proclaim to abide by.

Deuteronomy 5:9 "...for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children..." There are other quotes as well.

  • Praise God, I love YOu Jesus, thankyou for sharing this song

  • i am not a christian but i enjoy listining to jars of clay

  • I don't like most Christian Rock. Its repetitive and boring. But this band (Jars of Clay) has been something I have listened to since I was a little girl. I would scream/sing their songs out the car window. They are really good and This song just game on my shuffle. It is just a pretty song and I felt like sharing it. I doesn't matter if you are religious or not, this song is just pretty. The music, the voices, the everything. A simple declaration of a love for God, Which isn't a bad thing.

  • @ElphabasDDX repetitive and boring? listen to Five Iron Frenzy!

  • @mierendinger OK! I am always up for a good band! Thanks!

  • @ElphabasDDX it's not just christian music it values the person of God. this God who died for you and me and all of the rest of the world. hope you personally get to know him, who he is. blessing!

  • @Eveliu1 I have been a baptized christian for 15 years of my 20. But Thank you for your Blessings! I would like to mirror them to you.

  • One of the most beautiful songs ever made. I've heard it thousands of times and have never grown tired of it.

  • this song isnt so much religious as so much as it brings me back to my old, old youth group days

  • I love it <3 gives me hope for tomorrow. Thank the Lord for all I have!

  • What's whith the "Zoo" album cover?

  • I absolutely LOVE this song! Its truly amazing! <3

  • I am so very glad this song was brought back to me, it is a staple in my walk with god when I served in active in ministry & now in the struggle to get back along with DCTalk, between you and me & Delirious, Deeper these three songs are a constant on my IPod & and You- tube

  • 9 people haven't seen the glorious beauty of our God yet, but that's ok, they will in time <3

  • the people trhat put 8 dislikes really need to open there ears and hear gods love in this song.

  • This was one of the first songs I heard when I was newbie christian in 8th grade..I'm now a freshman in college..God truly is good!!! I want to fall in love with You Jesus all over again!!!

  • i remember listening to this song as a little girl. I fell in love with Jesus just like the girl in the song. :)

  • I was running to jesus on a dock, but I got a splinter and I never forgave him for letting that to happen.

  • @superearthbender, were you truly running to Jesus with your eyes fixed on Him, or did you take your eyes off Jesus and got the splinter? Keep your eyes fixed on Him and see what happens; He loves you now and always. Cheers!

  • @ceejay8432 I think Jesus has the right to do whatever the hell he wants to. Job was righteous, steadfast, and he DID NOT sin. He was completely clean. Did you know that? Look what happened to him. God defiled Job just to prove to "The Adversary" that Job wouldn't disobey him, as if God didn't already know that Job wouldn't sin. So God killed Job's children, wife, and animals.... But guess what! God REPLACED them. I guess his wife wasn't good enough. *shrugs* Oh well.

  • @superearthbender read the whole book. Job was not completely without blame in his heart. He felt that he knew better than God as to what should come into his life, and God brought those hardships into his life to reveal that part of his heart. Yes, when Job repented and broke that last place in his heart God did make all things new to him. Read the last bit of the book and you will think twice before thinking you can reason this all out for your self.

  • @superearthbender That's okay. He forgives you!

  • @flamingangel999

"The Holy Spirit is a jerk."

    ....

    -.-

  • @superearthbender He still loves you. The meaning of the story of Job is God is supreme. That even when we die which we all will. God is still in control and is omnipotent. Job was in submission to the will of God. That is why he was found to be rightous.

  • @flamingangel999 By making the Holy Spirit to be out to be less than he actually is, I have committed the only unforgivable sin. Obviously you don't know the bible that well. I'm eternally damned to hell.

  • @superearthbender Your also foolish. By assuming I don't know that scripture. Notice I didn't say he forgives you in my second post. I said He still loves you. Weather or not you have Blasphemed the Holy Spirit is another question. Weather you can still be forgiven and still go to Heaven depends on your asking for forgiveness. Weather you are sincere. The word says that His mercy knows no bounds. If you choose to go to Hell its your choice.

  • @flamingangel999 So, in order to prove a point, you're committing a sin by telling me I am "of a fool"? Your beliefs are contradictory.

Actually, I can't be forgiven, not that there is anything to forgive anyway. If the Holy Spirit didn't have such low self-esteem he wouldn't be bothered by my blaspheming his name. Would you be insulted if an ant called you a murderer? I'm sure you've killed one before.

Actually, you're wrong. His choice decides your fate no matter your actions.

  • Comment removed

  • @superearthbender By the way:

"But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother shall be liable to the council, and whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be liable to the hell of fire." Matthew 5:22

Do you know why we have computers and cars? It's because humans were so bold as to challenge the idea that what we have is enough, and that the ground upon which we stand is stable. If you like tradition so much go back to the forest.

  • @superearthbender there is a distinct difference between the context of calling someone a fool as an insult and trying to correct them by saying they are acting foolish. If you are convinced you are going to Hell and there is no hope for you? Why are you posting on Christian sights? God has given humans knowledge, intellect, and free will. That is why we have technology.

  • @flamingangel999 Foolish means to be like that of a fool, and as far as I'm concerned it is the same word in a different context. If I was characteristic of God, I would be God.

Actually, God didn't give us knowledge. Specifically, God told us NOT to eat of the knowledge of good and evil. He'd rather you be his blind zombie that perpetually feeds his ego.

There is also no hope for me according to a thousand other religions, but that doesn't exactly bother me.

  • @superearthbender God gave us two options: Stay in the garden always cared for and always protected from the evil that satan wanted to bring upon us (via the tree of knowledge of good and evil). and option 2: ignore God's rule, trust satan instead of Him, thus showing God that we want to be held completely accountable for our actions. Guess what we chose....And now we complain about the evil that runs rampant in this world....that causes pain and destruction-

  • @flamingangel999 In order for free will to exist, that would assume that a system does not dictate the world, but however is subject to random events. As well, if you are composed of a randomly ordered selection of random events, then what consists you? Your spirit?

  • @superearthbender God wants to bring us out of this pain and back to His eternal love....thus the sacrifice of Jesus- which has redeemed all our sins and bad choices- cancelling out satan and making sure that we get back to that paradise forever.

No blind zombie theory....just simply love and trust. And we chose to love and trust the wrong being. Now the only question is....can you find your way back to paradise through Jesus? or will you continue to trust that which causes you pain?

  • @wh0vill3g1rl The only thing that causes me pain is the ignorance and blindness of the people who call themselves intelligent or truthful. You haven't questioned any of the ideas your religion has presented to you, but however accepted it as fact like a child to a drunken father.

You haven't even touched upon anything that I have said aside from saying it's wrong. When you can default my points, then I will talk to you. Until then you remain with a crutch.

  • @superearthbender I am proud of my crutch, and your right God is a crutch, if not I'd still be a drug addict or more likely dead, He has actively changed my life, He cured my drug addiction while at the same time cleansing my body of the drugs that were about to claim my life all in the matter of a few minutes and no, I was never brought to the E.R. or hospital, nor was there anyone able to help me so with that said I proclaim that I am forever grateful for my crutch and I will never let it go

  • @truebinx You're such a weakling.

  • @superearthbender actually I am rather strong in my faith thank you, because you see for me to deny that Christ is real would be as foolish as denying that we breath air, I have personally witnessed His loving mercy and grace and have my very life to thank for that, perhaps your the one who is weak?

It is a hard thing to swallow ones pride

  • @truebinx

Air? Well that's ridiculous! Science hasn't proven the existence of air.

You must thank his mercy for letting you live? I didn't know he wanted to kill people that much.

    And I quote:

(pride:) "a feeling of self-respect and personal worth"

And I suppose you said goodbye to that a long time ago.

  • @superearthbender you have intentionally twisted my words, really man, why the hate? but it doesn't suprise me that you call pride good for "that which is good will be declared evil and that which is evil will be esteemed as good"

Pride is an emotion that is rooted in fear (according many trained psychologists), fear is an emotion that God does not want us to have because it creates things like bigotry, hate, and after it creates pride (emotion to replace the fear of insignificance) arrogance

  • @truebinx I never defined your words to be other than what they are. If you want to get a point across, be specific and provide a valid argument that doesn't make assumptions concerning your listener.

Pride is having value in what you do. "I have pride in volunteering to help out fire victims." is a common example of pride. Now please define what the word you are using is.

God also says to only eat animals which chew there cud and have a split hoof, but I seriously doubt you obey it.

  • @superearthbender "You must thank his mercy for letting you live? I didn't know he wanted to kill people that much" from "if not I'd still be a drug addict or more likely dead, He has actively changed my life, He cured my drug addiction while at the same time cleansing my body of the drugs that were about to claim my life all in the matter of a few minutes and no, I was never brought to the E.R. or hospital, nor was there anyone able to help me" I think you need reading comprehension

  • @truebinx Insulting my character again? Lol. This will turn out well, I can tell.

  • @superearthbender fear begets pride, pride begets arrogance, arrogance begets boasting.

Pride comes from the need to feel that you have worth, self esteem is knowing you have worth without having done somthing. Joy comes from doing good because you want to, pride comes from doing good because 'it's the right thing to do' example, "it gives me great joy to bring comfort to fire victims" vs. "I have pride in volunteering to help fire victims" obvious which statement is rooted in purity....

  • @truebinx Self esteem is having worth without having done something? If everyone had tons of self esteem, nothing would get done. And you would never be able to type on this keyboard or look at a monitor.

"it gives me great joy..." That statement does not reference a definition of an antonym to pride, so your statement is invalid. Lol, now who's twisting words?

  • @superearthbender who is more justified the one who does good because they genuinely want to or the one who does it out of obligation? the one who feels obligated to will be the one to feel this 'pride' because they did good even though they would rather be doing something else and they will expect to be treated a certain way or have the favor returned one day, the one who just wants to help will feel joy because their gesture has been well received and they will expect nothing in return....

  • @truebinx

You people need to seriously define the words you are using. "Good"? What? What is good, binx? It's nothing I can see. I am blind to all the good that you have done, like Job for instance, or let's consider the murderous army that killed the Palestines. So if God tells me it's my land, it's OK to go and murder all of Europe, because, "God told me it's my land, not theirs".

You preach "peace" and "good" with a knife in your hand and blood on your shirt.

  • @superearthbender ....there is a big difference between the two.

And if you do a little research Kosher was the most healthy way of eating at the time, He also said if you do those things He will bless you with longevity. Many laws like that existed for the health and safety of the Jews as for now, I will refer you to Acts 10:9-15 and Mark 7:14-23

  • @truebinx

Big difference between what? I'm confused. Reference, por favor.

Your line about Kosher doesn't come to any conclusion. I inferred that if you want to follow the bible, do it the right way with ALL the laws. You people are luke warm in the mouth of your father.

Did you know that pork meat has worms in it that can't be killed by even broiling the meat to charcoal? Pork is still bad for you no matter the year you eat it. You're all a bunch of hypocrites, I swear.

  • @superearthbender you understanding is obviously limited, I never insulted your character, but now I will point out your character, your just trolling, otherwise you would come up with VALID arguements to refute my points but you can't instead your just looking for a fight, your defence will likely be something like"how are my arguements not valid?" however any reasonable person can clearly see what your doing, so this convo is over

  • @truebinx The problem with the conversation is that you're using ideas that other people made up rather than your own. For instance, the idea of "good" or "righteousness". What are they? You're basing your arguments on them, but have avoided any questions I made as to what they are.

I find it my problem to be incapable of helping you understand, but that doesn't make me incorrect. When you can answer what good is, and tell me why an aborted baby goes to hell, then I'll listen.

  • @superearthbender your whole belief on Christianity is a stereotype for instance you claim that we believe aborted babies go to hell, it is unreasonable to assume that you are unaware that you are stereotyping therefore I can only assume that you are trolling, and challenging the beliefs of Christians on a video of a heavily Christian song (where you know you'll find us in abundance) only proves that you are trolling

  • @truebinx I didn't stereotype Christianity, I was a Christian for nearly my entire life and I have actually read the bible, unlike many of you. And yes, they do go to hell:

Exodus 20:5 "...I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me..."

A son is responsible for his fathers sins, and is incapable of repenting.

Actually, I like this song, it's nostalgic for me.

    Assumptive, no?

  • @superearthbender He was talking about earthly punishments, you have to realize that many of those things in the law which you so obsessivly quote are cause and effect, God is saying that if a man is evil or irresponsible it will effect his decendents for up to four generations. Ezekiel chapter 18 the whole chapter. Your arguments come from a lack of understanding of what the bible actually means, you'll probably claim "I have no logical standing or whatever" but just think about it.

  • @truebinx

Earthly punishments? You can interpret this forever, but it doesn't change the fact of what is written. The only possible variable is the "those who hate me" bit, which would still render any "hating" Agnostics' aborted babies eternal punishment.

I think of logic very differently from many people, so you'll have to tell me what you're trying to say about that. I use reason to make decisions, logic is shear blindness to only see what is directly in front of you.

  • @superearthbender that is, i believe, the mosot skewed definition of the word "logic". I grow weary of christians indiscriminately hating on agnosticas and logic. Get to know some of us, we're people just like you. I still go to church on a near regular basis. Its a great environment, i just dont share their views.

Logic is relative to you in many ways and in that sense it IS reason, but i do thank you for your trolling efforts.

  • @robearberbils Logic is simply a consistent system. It's very practical, and deals with real results that can be seen or implemented. It is not intuition, and does not seek for enlightenment by new and upcoming tools.

To be honest Mr. Rob, I can't remember the argument, and it doesn't benefit me to waste my energy arguing with you over a debate that's at least a year old. This is the internet. Nothing is serious.

  • Comment removed

  • @flamingangel999 Ok, it's your spirit, but now your spirit is still random so your spirit isn't composed of anything. Therefore, you don't exist as a being that is responsible for it's decisions, because they were random, and you as being such did not decide them, random did. And so, because you are not responsible for actions you did not commit, God can neither punish you, nor allow you entrance into heaven for any good you have done. Because you did not do them.

  • This whole fucking album is amazing, only reason to be a christian.

  • @KA1NL Definitely not the only reason to be a Christian. ;]

  • @KA1NL dude what is wrong with you

  • @KA1NL If you seriously think that a musical group is the "only reason to be a Christian", then you lack real faith & have replaced it with simple mindedness. You may want to reflect a bit upon what it means to trust in God.

  • @BringBackTheTruth haha Not christian or religions on the slightest sorry bud, most likely there is something higher but it cant or doesn't care....i like it that way

I want to fall inlove with you Jesus!"^-^

  • That is beautiful! I know what you mean! this song reminds me of when I really started having that relationship with him. He should be number one in everyones life!

  • Yes, I agree, this song represents the feelings of a Christian when you start to have a longing for a deeper relationship with Jesus. I love this song!

  • @ailefofelia this was me 8 months ago and I cant stop playing or sing this song
