Yeah, that upholestry shop is ripping people off big time. I wouldn't even deal with them anymore. Don't trust them! Your customers need to file in court and try to get money back. I am proud of you for attempting to stick up for your customers. The customers ALWAYS need to get a written estimate before work begins. By doing this, they can take that to court when the prices go through the ceiling and hopefully the judge will see through it all. Whatever happened in that case?

That is rediculous. i just had the 2 front seats and 1 rear bucket redone in my 99 Trans-Am and it ran me right at 500. Not no 8000 or 800 a seat. I just got my olds back from my guy and he charged me$3,900,and that's was the most he ever charged me because I had him embroider iron crosses in the seats and a like suede headliner! This guy your dealing with has some issues. I shout somebody if they told me $1,600 to cover two seats!! That's the most common thing I do for my costumers is have the front seats done and depending on type of materials, I never payed more than $300 a seat!!
