Nice work, hoping to do something like this myself eventually, any tips on software you used? And did you layer it one section at a time or perform everything independently and then combine them? I imagine it is a PITA to edit ^^

@gorgobar Thank you! This was actually my very first VideoSong. I have learned a lot since then and am constantly changing how I do things.

I hit record on my camera and then my audio recording software and play the instrument through. Then I do the same for each instrument/voice track. Then I spend time editing the audio (I use Cubase LE 4 which came with my effects pedal...and have just bought an iBook, so I'll be using Garage Band as well).

@MikeCooperMusic (continued)... After the audio is done, I then edit the video (I use Sony Vegas). This takes even longer than shaping the audio. All in all it's a labour, but a labour of love. If/when you get frustrated at any point, just remember that you're doing it for fun. Don't be too hard on yourself, especially at first. I look forward to your videos!
