been loving street fighter for years but always loved Kof series in some way too. Im a sucker for wild supers and cool cancel combos. But anyway after playing kof 13 at the arcades i dont feel salty anymore towards snk for that "demo" kof 12 game. Im very pleased to know that we will get console version after SSF4AE release and extras that the arcade version doesnt have. So lets hope Rock is in it, maybe yamazki and a bizzare resurrection of geese howard haha dunno

Yeh man as a street fighter fan first (SF3d strike and SF 2 turbo) i think this is where capcom should have taken it. 2D hardcore action. From playing the arcade game a bit and seeing more videos its definitely that 90s vibe. I like SSF4 "because its street fighter" but i still wish Capcom went the 2D route. yes i know its expensive to draw the sprites but this kof game makes you feel at home as a fighting gamer. So haha on that note i feel complete knowing now its comin home ;)

SNK is credited that (along with first fighting games to have super moves super bars) but no1 would really say every fighting game to use those after SNK ripped off SNK. especially since u knew ralf vulcan punced first, it doesnt seem like u considered One Piece to have rip offed/tributed ralf in the first place. OP maybe ot dat move from Kenshiro who do it best

Red skin, cannonball smoke for punches' visual effects, the only two shows that do the full body punch version are Jojo's Bizzare Adventure and One Piece, its prefix is JET, bobbing his head down, stopping in one tense stance as steam comes out his pores from the high body heat and blood flow.

Its easy to differentiate them anyway. Jotaro/Dio's is full body and punched from the hip, Kenshiro is just using the limb, et

@SenpaiSamaKun well since u wanna revive an old series of comments, ralf had his punch moves since 94 and even had smoke from it in kof96. yah it looks like the one piece move, but u cant jus say ralf is a copy since ralf had variations of the vulcan punch for years. besides, rapidly punching at some1 is a simple and somewhat practical attack u dont need to copy some1 to come up with that move for a char. SNK was the first to use taunts but u wont say games copied them if they have taunts ingame

You wouldn't, but I would. I'll call Guilty Gear just a clusterfuck of multiple stolen mechanics, and still say I love the series.

Ralf's Neomax is ripped off Luffy's Gear 2 signature move. Is it in tribute? Yes. Is it in taste while One Piece is still part of popular culture? Yes. So what's the big problem about it being copied? Heck Clark's is Robin Mask's move from Ultimate Muscle.

and thats funny what you said about snk being the first to do a crossover series because its true. Kof 94! that set a whole new bar man. yes Kof has been a bit more tough to get over in with spammin but it was fun to try to work harder at doing tech combos and super cancels. I always felt good when i caught someone with a nice combo and then with a low energy desperation move. you really had to pull it off and not a simple 2 QCF move and your in there haha. just being funny.

SNK was the first to use dashing and guard cancel an its funny how SNK 4 button scheme is more complex than Capcom 6 button scheme altho capcom has started doin the 4 button scheme for TvC n MvC3

Oh this i do know my friend! lol Im not complaining about SNK toughness. Thats what i love about it. you have to be a bit extra on thinking technical and knowing how to cancel those supers. Thats why i always loved both SF and KOf. Real gamers should respect both those series because your ass kickin skills go up a notch if you combine those talents. But Tvc and Mvc3 im sorry i dont take seriously. my girl can button mash and be a master at those. SF and KOf is serious bizness

@xDTHECHEMISTx yah i have nothing against TvC seeing as how it "introduced" capcom 4 button scheme (i dont count pocket as a serious fighter, altho its good) an since it was a new vs. series game, i expected a new formula. but when MC3 took out wat made MC2 so great n popular, i hated it. the complex 6 button scheme along with quick assists made MC2 addicting along with the large variety of fighters and moves. MC2 was VERY broken dat it was good. fight broken tactics with broken tactics lol

Yeh i had my moments winning in MVC2 on dreamcast but when a friend or two would hit me with the broken 198 near plus infinite i would just walk away from the console as its going down and just get a sandwich er somethin. It was broken but it was understood. Mvc3 is broken but with missing elements like you said from Mvc2. so i agree. Anyway i just miss the tech tactic days of SF & KOF;) So Kof 13 FTW!

That aside, there's some great originality that Capcom hasn't swiped and that's what makes KoF and the SNK angle very refreshing and playable. Love what I see here :D
