  • Eerie sound. Very nice. Cool video.

  • Awesome horn and fabulous view point !!! 5*****

  • Man the mountains really give the horn that monstrous vibe

  • I live in denver, and this is actually the SKi Train from Denver to winter park. they are ex-amtrak f40's with m3 horns- just like the rio grande

  • The ski train has an orange stripe!

  • no it doesnt it is orange and silver with a black stripe down the middle

  • I'm an Amtrak employee... And I certify this ain't an Amtrak train! ;)

    Beautiful horn though!

  • Why get angry when he is right?

A lot of passenger services were cancelled with the coming of Amtrak. I would have loved to see the pre-Amtrak passenger trains, when they were pulled by E, F or PA units.

  • infact i heard amtrak adding a line .the north corridor

  • Hey boeingLL747, your comment rings true.

I would love to see different passenger train companies, not just one company.

  • A train with that horn passed by my house once. By the way, the conductor tooted the horn for you right as he passed you.

  • Great sounding M3

  • that is a neat clip...i lvoe how you hear that awesome horn, then the rails glow. nice they gave a soft toot as they went by

  • thanks for watching

  • Yep, that''s a M3! Sounds very nice.

  • That's the Ski Train, they our M3's on their locos, a very nice sound. M3's are what the Rio Grande, the railroad that started the ski train, used.

  • Cranking it in the Cold February mountain air!

  • It's A REAL M3 or 5 horn!
