I live in denver, and this is actually the SKi Train from Denver to winter park. they are ex-amtrak f40's with m3 horns- just like the rio grande

i dont like amtrak. they're owned by the government and they took all the once great routes like the empire builder and the hiawatha andm ade them their own. thats what made some lines go outof business

A lot of passenger services were cancelled with the coming of Amtrak. I would have loved to see the pre-Amtrak passenger trains, when they were pulled by E, F or PA units.

That's the Ski Train, they our M3's on their locos, a very nice sound. M3's are what the Rio Grande, the railroad that started the ski train, used.
