@Skylinetaenzer his fightings not the best but hes aggressive(at the start of a fight) and hes fun to watch i wouldnt necessarily say hes got great technique ie his stand up has hardly any head movement, drops his hands, exposes his chin etc etc
and his ground game is based off his buddha palm guillotine...hes like a one hit wonder
he just doesnt compare to the elite fighters
also he did have a really low success rate at taking down edwards

OK this is Ernest, Cody's opponent in this video. Just to clear things up. I outweighed Cody by about 90 pounds for this match. I am a wrestler first, but I have been doing primarily Judo/JiuJitsu/MMA since 98. When I took this match I was still recovering from two major surgeries in 1 year ( gastric bypass and gall bladder removal) and I had lost over 160 pounds in that year.
Cody did an amazing job holding off everything I attempted. He was a class act through and through,

The guillotine is one of the most basic submissions and one that is normally quite easy to escape. After watching his tapes (the few he has) I tried it and holy fuckin shit. That move is pretty much non escapable, and at the same time, the guy getting choked thinks he's ok....till it's too late.
Cody McKenzie sucks, all he's got is a weird guillotine choke. His wrestling isnt good and his striking is mediocre at best. Other than that i think he's got a good personality for television...

Cody displayed very good technical prowess. nice butterfly's, sweeps.. great Guillotine attempt... 11-0 for a reason. big guy did mostly what he should have. Not get submitted by a guy about 65+ lbs (at least) his junior.
@littleevilll i just looked up ernest henderson... he is 0-2 got tko'ed by tim sylvia 36 seconds... guess what he weighed in at for that fight... the BIG 360... thats 200 pounds more than cody when he fights... i dont think henderson was that big in this because that was 8 years ago... but he was still at least 300

regardless of how technically good cody mckenzie might be, the dude still developed a technique to improve the guillotine.
