  • What song is that?? I love it

  • anyone know the music

  • good job

  • you guys should be partnered. you have potential

  • Lol I Was Laughing When Random Girl Come Out Of Nowhere

  • its kinda gay

  • the new format on YouTube makes it impossible to click the annotation on the bottom!:O

  • @randOmazing Oh thanks for pointing that out! I'll have to change that when I have time. THANKS!

  • an i thought the usage of the music was a good counterpoint choice that really kept the whole thing flowing. nice job

  • i have to say i was under the impression that it had a sixth sense twist at the end that the girl was dead the whole time and the man in black was avenging her by killing the one responsible but that he learned a lesson. (which is the other guy didn't react to her) just wondering if i am correct :) besides that i thought the choreography and cinematography were well executed! cheers

  • what were yur camera settings when filming if u dnt mind me asking?

  • Well done man ... did you really use a tripod to do the steadycam scenes? .. unbelievable

  • hi im tryin to render to get the awesome quality u have. can u tell me how to render uncompressed in premiere pro?

  • This is magnificently choreographed... What is the Orchestral Piece Playing???

  • @ArGyProductions

    **** St. Johns Passion by J.S.Bach **** - Found it :)

  • in what file did you exported your video??

  • hi there

how much iso that u use ?

    tq

  • Nice choreography and filmography! But I'm sorry, pasty-white chicks are not worth fighting over. Especially if she EGGS them ON. That's some high-school BS, right there...

  • @Arcomitry ...or...Adobe After Effects.

I wish I had Twixtor. Would mind getting it for me? :)

  • Nice Martial Arts, Nice Video Quality, but the actors do look a little nerdy lol, but in my book they are bad asses for knowing martial arts, THUMBS UP!!

  • Would be lots better with some blood :)

I mean like blood in slowmotion flying in air :D

  • the hell u getting all this symphaNY music from

  • the best things about this vid are the camera and the choreography, finally got to the fight and i was like OMG NERD FIGHT LOL!! but good job overall, ill give it a thumbs up. oh and which ever one of ya does Taekwondo, i would totally reroll on that one.

  • nice choreography

  • GREAT VIDEO

  • this was great! i hope i can start making stuff like this when my canon t2i comes nxt week :)

  • @DCinemaz well you screwed up

canon t3i is about to come out

  • @rocklee5413 naw canon t2i is not gonna be that much different then the t2i...besides i will be satisfied with my t2i :)

  • This is awesome! Was this choreographed, or was it just a freestyle fight?

  • hahaha well atleast my cat doesnt gets less vieuws then your video so dont feel that bad :)

  • What fps did you shot figthing scene?

  • wow... wow this just gave me a weird feeling. The music, the setting... awsome guys.. Only 4000 views... that really sucks this deserves alot more!

  • @Sh4d0wzzz No, what sucks is when random Kittens do ten times better in viewings 0_0

  • @TKDJeffrey Yeah random kittens bring in women AND men.... at least 200% more than well-choreographed martial arts short films :(

  • ....how? i read that you didn't even use any steadicam...yet your footage was greatly steady. how?

  • Nice Work!!

  • oh nvm, i see.

  • Uh would you mind telling me what video editing program you used for this? :)

  • lol, ip man 2.46...

but wow, this video was awesome..

  • Lol, sparta kick at 1:26.

  • Cool video, I would've "thumbs up" if you kept your hands up. Though i guess TKD doesn't teach that normally right?

  • Great job! Question... Just got a T2i a few weeks ago.. my current editing software has problems running its videos..( no idea why..) so what software do you use for editing and compressing?

  • @epicigloo Are you using a Pc? And if so are you using cs3 or cs4? If so, you will want to look into buying Neo Scene by Cineform. It converts the footage from the t2i into something cs3 and 4 can work with. Cs5 can work with Dslr cameras flawlessly

  • @epicigloo regardless having a pc or mac, you need to convert the files into something else first for the computer to use well for editing. I use MPEG streamclip, but whatever works for you will be fine.

  • Looks good...Great job. One question...what Steady Cam did you use for the running scene

  • @yungsonny2700

    Just A tripod :)

  • @TKDJeffrey but how the hell did you get your image so stable?

  • @TKDJeffrey

    WHAT! O_ó?

    are you serious?

  • @TKDJeffrey It's pretty decent. All that you really would require is some color grading to add more dramatic effect. I am really impressed on how you got that great shot of her running and I did notice your motion tracking - lovely and inspiring. If you want to know about any good tutorials just contact me I can shoot you some links! :-D

  • This was great, Loved it.

  • how did you get the camera to stay still

  • @TheSCB22

Just a tripod my friend :)

  • What kind of martial arts do you do?

  • @PifWorks

We use a combination of Martial Arts but I currently do Taekwondo and Corey has done Jeet Kunn Do.

  • Well done! That was real good.

  • Keep up the good work. Looks Great. If you have time check out my stuff. The only thing I think let it down was the Blood Duel titles which were poor compared the the other titles you did and the Narrative needed expanding and explaining more. Other that looks amazing.

  • @KirksWorldTV Hay, thanks for point that out. Your quite right! I was a little rushed but I really should have taken the time to work those things out a little more.

  • Beautifully done. Would you mind telling me the settings you used? The low light performance is great.

  • @EliteF50

I had it on manuel the whole time and I cept on changeing the settings around the whole time so I can't really say. Sorry......

  • what a great job u guys did, awesome martial art co-ordination too

  • very nice job dude..... so do you think with the 18 - 55mm kit lens... it's ok to make a shortfilm?

  • @EGYPTSELLERS

It's is, but remember. The lenes you use are not going to make a shortfilm good. The production quality will. So yes, you can most likely make an amazing shortfilm with only the kit lens if your good.

  • nice focus

  • hi what picture style are u shooting with to get this quality..is it standard or r u customizing your user settings

  • really good job ! hey, what's the name of the soundtrack ?

  • @lukebel St. Johns Passion by J.S.Bach. I know it may not total fit the scene but I adore Baroque period music. (Most of all Bach!)

  • for the slowmotion shots what was the camera settings?

  • @daylyts2009 If i'm not mistaken it was.......

A shutter speed of 200 and set at 60 FPS on 720p.

  • @TKDJeffrey love the time remaping !!

  • god damn, this is so good.

  • I found this short production because I was looking for more information on that camera but I wanted to say that you did a very nice job with it. Very impressive.

    Best wishes.

  • I really like your movies.

  • Good job! I love the Guy Ritchie-style slow-motion bits at 1:44, haha. I think the fight lost some of its impact, though, without the crisp sound effects you usually have with the punches and kicks. It was still good, though.

  • good job guys :) I especially like the speed ramping sections of the fight. looking forward to more videos! :D

  • Like I said on Facebook.. the best 3 minutes off my life. Jeff, you are my hero!

  • good stuff.

  • No words for the Short Film... - Anonnymous

    ;D

  • The first 2 exchanges are my favorite bits of the fight, I also like the slomo push kick by Corey. Also, that last long take with the rotating view was pretty awesome. Great work.

  • Awesome! nicely done..do some more slow mo footage from the 550D! and what is the max frame rate you can get at 1080p with this camera? i hears its 24,25,30 but can it go up to 60?

  • @Dimitry49 Yes. in 720p mode only
