As for something new and exciting, Crash Kings are great and sound amazing live. The singer plays a clavinet, which sounds awesome, and he is very talented vocally -- yet he manages to play an instrument. This guy from Cage the Elephant has great stage presence for sure, but what he does is barely even singing. I can barely even tell their two singles apart.
@DivergentRunoff The black keys of course are great, and the crash kings have a good sound, but if your thinking mainstream the crash kings are definitely more mainstream than cage the elephant. His vocals are original, they are unique just because he is not the greatest singer ever does not mean he does not do a great job and bring something new to the table, this is rock and roll after all.

I've just heard the two singles from Cage the Elephant and I honestly couldn't tell them apart the first time I heard the new one. Maybe the rest of their album is great. They are obviously not the same song, but as songs go, they are extremely similar, especially to be released as the only two singles of the band so far.

the music scene over here in the UK has been mad for the last decade! brilliant! you can see why so many bands some here to try brake through before hitting the US, this is my favourite band right now! just ordered the album after having some off itunes, been too long!
yup kentucky, allot of bands come here to brake through as its so much easier to tour and get your music heard by the whole country rather than in the states where it's allot bigger and each state has their own mainstream of music. The UK has been brewing modern music for the past decade, why so many bands settle over here =)

Ok so this is the best band of the decade. Everything about them is amazing from their crazy guitar sounds to Matt Shultz's perfomance on stage. These guys deserve way more recognition than they have now but like Shultz says...hes only playing music cuz he fuckin loves it. its not about the glory or the fame. My god, walking down the street, the only songs i hear pouring out of car windows are those rap and hiphop songs, and those are usually about buttcheeks, shooting other rappers, or money (or shoes, in the case of soldier boy). I don't care how this guy acts on stage, his band in general sounds great.

the music scene over here in the UK has been mad for the last decade! brilliant! you can see why so many bands some here to try brake through before hitting the US, this is my favourite band right now! just ordered the album after having some off itunes, been too long!

yup kentucky, allot of bands come here to brake through as its so much easier to tour and get your music heard by the whole country rather than in the states where it's allot bigger and each state has their own mainstream of music. The UK has been brewing modern music for the past decade, why so many bands settle over here =)

Ok so this is the best band of the decade. Everything about them is amazing from their crazy guitar sounds to Matt Shultz's perfomance on stage. These guys deserve way more recognition than they have now but like Shultz says...hes only playing music cuz he fuckin loves it. its not about the glory or the fame. Im going to go see yall at Amos in Charlotte NC. Im pretty sure you will see me front row. A performance like this is worth getting their hours early to get up front. You better play long:)
