I doubt it has anything to do with EA or Need For Speed, it's probably because it's hidden away in the game's code, and that there's no legitimate way of acquiring it that Polyphony got away with it.

@karelpipa Polyphony definitely put it in the game's code, but really, who knows why it's there? Maybe at some point it looked as if Porsches were going to be officially licenced for the game, and so they made the GT3, but it fell through at the last minute.  It's a nice secret to have though, right?

English people call Porsche 'Porsche' just like everyone else does. RUF is a different company altogether.

Obviously both Opel and Vauxhall are both owned by General Motors, and the cars are sold under the Vauxhall name in Britain, Opel in Europe, and Holden in Australia.

i dont think they were licensed though.. the diablo is a little wrong in proportions... Gran Turismo can avoid getting sued for copying the design if they change it enough.. and Porsche makes people buy the license to use their badge and cars in games.

i don't remember what it is called but there is a type of gameshark disc that allows for SUPER sick codes.

i used the disc for this and grand thef auto

full auto rocket launchers and full health against the army is awesome for grand theft auto

for gran turismo 3 u can get like 10,000 HP and tons of other cheats which are fun to mess around with

I don't think they were totally removed from the PAL version. I tried using the Diablo through a hybrid program, the car came out as a Daihatsu Cuore TR XX vanzato R '97, but the chassis/wheels/engine (?) still existed. This also applies to the other hidden cars.
