It is my hope and my prayer that those who say they believe, but really do not, and those atheists, who cannot understand why someone would believe at all, may come to the true faith. I am especially pained for those who claim to know God, yet disobey His Word. As Jesus said, the torments of Hell will be much worse for those, than for those who may be spiritually blind, yet honest in their dealings. The tormets of Hell, for all eternity, will be unbearable for all, but especially hypocrites.

True Christians are "crucified with Christ," "risen with Christ," have "affection on things above, not on things on earth," "look not on the things which are seen." The world hates God's servants. Jesus said "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." (Joh 15.18-19)

David's dancing was not a love of this life. It was joy for the return of the glory of God to Israel. He wasn't "feeling groovy" with no promises and no cares and loving this life. He rejoiced in the Lord for God's presence. You cannot use any isolated verse of expression of joy and say therefore I can love this life. First it is foolish to say that hell is part of this world as it stands now, that is not Biblical. There will be a new heaven and a new earth once this one is destroyed.

I have always stated the Word of God as my source. Take or leave it has always been stated to unbelievers.
Thanks for the rational question. The last verse says "Life, I love you, All is groovy." God teaches in the Bible, "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal." (John 12.25) To say you love your life when an omnicient, all-wise God says that your life is to be hated, is to reject God's counsel of the proper way to think, and therefore to mock God. To say "no deeds to do, no promises to keep" is also wrong.
A Godly person spends there life in service to God and to his fellow man. God teaches an attitude of service not selfishness. "No deeds and no promises" is a selfish existence without regard to necessary obedience to God and to help ones fellow man in preaching the gospel and relieving human suffering where possible. My life is spent in service to others, denying myself many of life's pleasures, so others can jsut have something to eat and wear.
Additionally, a Christian endures incessant mocking as he spreads the gospel that souls may be saved and avoid the eternal damnation coming upon the God haters. This is done because of our love for mankind. It would be much easier personally on Christians to forget about the horror to come and just pleasure ourselves and sing cute little tra-la-la songs and smell some flowers. But we do not spend our days looking to "feel groovy." We hate our own sinful flesh and care for lost souls.
So while the spiritually blind skip along seeking the pleasures of this life, and to love this life, God teaches to hate your life and to love others. True life is to come in eternity. This would not be sensible to those who have not had the revelation of God's truth, the Bible, revealed to them by the Spirit. David's dancing was not a love of this life. It was joy for the return of the glory of God to Israel. He wasn't "feeling groovy" with no promises and no cares and loving this life. He rejoiced in the Lord for God's presence. You cannot use any isolated verse of expression of joy and say therefore I can love this life. That is not only bad exegesis, but it makes you contradict other more specific and definitive scriptures that indicate the true life-long character of a true Christian.

I primarily do spiritual battle with two types: 1) the worldly, lying, scripture quoting, and twisting hypocrite, and 2) those flaming atheists who think that they understand all, and are absolutely sure that their experience is the only experience, now and forever. Even a resonable but unbelieving scientific mechanist should at least hold the possibility of the spirit, and therefore not be so condesending towards the concept. It is not illogical, though certainly fantastic.

Thanks for the rational question. The last verse says "Life, I love you, All is groovy." God teaches in the Bible, "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal." (John 12.25) To say you love your life when an omnicient, all-wise God says that your life is to be hated, is to reject God's counsel of the proper way to think, and therefore to mock God. To say "no deeds to do, no promises to keep" is also wrong.

A Godly person spends there life in service to God and to his fellow man. God teaches an attitude of service not selfishness. "No deeds and no promises" is a selfish existence without regard to necessary obedience to God and to help ones fellow man in preaching the gospel and relieving human suffering where possible. My life is spent in service to others, denying myself many of life's pleasures, so others can jsut have something to eat and wear.

Additionally, a Christian endures incessant mocking as he spreads the gospel that souls may be saved and avoid the eternal damnation coming upon the God haters. This is done because of our love for mankind. I would like to hear how you know that Hell is obviously non-existent, and ridiculous. Where do you get your information? If you choose to reject its existence, that is your prerogative, but how can you rationally discount something you cannot disprove, even to yourself? The best you can do is be ignorant/agnostic. You can be saved from the wrath of God to come through His Son Jesus Christ. If that doesn't speak to your heart, then God is not calling you, and you should then ignore the message. As I have said to you before, believing in God and being religious mean NOTHING in terms of you being saved, and being a Christian. The demons believe AND tremble before God (Jas 2.19), and Pharisees and Hindus and countless others are religious, but not saved. You can deceive yourself all you like with your "easy religion" of your own making, but you are disobedient to Word of God and therefore are showing yourself unfit for eternal life. The torments of eternal Hell await the rebels.
