  • sorry to hear he had such a bad cocaine addiction that he lost all his money..i hope his wife was not left with massive debts incurred by a selfish sick husband who died and left his poor widow to suffer financially for his sins and negligence....a real man is smart with his money especially if he has wife and children

  • This brings back memories of Oxon Hill, Md. and all the bars that I went to as a kid...my mom worked as a bartender and waitress at most of them. The song ends at a crazy moment. They were getting ready to go into another chorus, but that is what the road does to you. Antone from Oxon Hill, Md. out there? Looking for Lee Deal, Thelma, John Henry, Larry Halmiton (drummer). Contact me please, on this site......Good Hearted Women

  • Waylon lives on!!! One of the most under rated musicians in Country Music. he was tired, but he put out 100% on his "live" shows.

  • he was agreat drinker i mean singer love it!!!

  • Waylon coked up with one arm singing into a tin can is still 1000 Times better then the fucking drivel they call Country Music today

  • waylon-what an artist--and 'hanklover4ever--shame on you--how many drugs did Hank take?? Said it was for back pain?? Hank was an excellent artist, also.

  • what a man

  • Never heard that Waylon had to be messed up in order to play...I will research this accusation. Thanks, rosemarie443...Matter of fact he does not look messed up in the majority of his performances.

  • @hanklove4ever your ignorant, this man has snorted more coke then fucking pablo escobar sold. when he's strung out he actually sung better.

  • @hanklove4ever well Waylon was never called what you would call messed up, but he took drugs, but he knew just what to take to make him right. and when he came down with diabetes they told him get off of drugs or die. so he got off of drugs and didn't live to much longer after that. i really do not think that the drugs was the cause of the diabetes. I love Waylon and will miss him , just like Johnny Cash both were great

  • that was the only way Waylen could sing, when they got him clean he never ever may a hit record, but i love this man, great singer.

  • "You've got to care about the music...You'd better not be doing it for the publicity, the fame or the money. And you'd sure better not be doing it because it's a way to make a living, 'cause that ain't always going to be easy. You got to believe it, believe in the music. You got to mean it." -- Waylon Jennings

  • Listen to the Waylon Collection tited "The Journey: Destiny's Child & Six String Act" 12 CD's in all and has the most incredible range of music I have ever heard for Waylon. Terrific music for all ages. I enjoy it and made my own mix cd from my originals and when people hear it, they can't believe it's Waylon it's cool to see their reactions! Also contains the original "House of the Rising Sun" Alot of the songs are upbeat and have a rockabilly beat to them. Good beer drinking tunes!

  • He looks like the dude from the Big Lebowski

  • He looks like the dude from the Big Lewbowski

  • this HAS to be late 70's ! cuz i had pants and belt like that singer! LOL... god.. good memories

  • the 16 people who disliked this are Rascal flatts fans, but what they dont know is they made the like bar look like a cigarette Waylon smoked after he plowed their groupy mom backstage and made her cry when he kicked her out for saying "i love you" hahahaha

  • What year was this concert performed?

  • I'm black. I grew up on hip hop, R&B, Neo Soul, and Rock...but you have to admit that this is great music. I would have loved to meet this guy!

  • This song brings me back. I remember listening to this one with my dad while riding around in the tractor when I was a kid.

  • Waylon fought for originality in country music to avoid what has happened today where the artist are encouraged to sound exactly like each other,Its a shame, Country s a good form of music but I cannot and will not get behind modern country,God bless Waylon and I hope someday more like minded country musicians come along,

  • i like how theyre just playing nothing else needing to go on to make the concert enjoyable but the music

  • To my sister Dorothy.. I love and miss you so much. You loved Waylon so much you named your baby Waylon. Listening to his music makes me understand why. Please be in peace.. He has turned out great.

  • I'm 14.. & I LOVE Waylon!! (:

  • hey if james hetfield of metallica respects waylon enough to show up on a cross roads tribute him that tells me alot bout this mans musical reach.

  • @gtofan2005 yea a really big MAN

  • Legg inn respons på denne videoen a really big MAN

  • @gtofan2005 I absolutely love Metallica, but country also. I knew that Hetfield liked a wide variety of music and I think liking a wide variety of anything makes a person better, because it gives a better perspective than those who are bashing each other's music all of the time.

  • If You are Hungry for some sounds of the old time and are looking for some Hard Country go to youtube.com/watch?v=m79vKv14QU4

  • I WANT THAT LEATHER VEST HANGING ABOVE MY BED

  • this is music sung from the deepness of the heart with love and passion and to bring joy and happiness to others, this is what music really is and should be....things made for the sole purpose of monetary gain will never last and will crumble to dust eventualy because nobody gives a damn about 2 bit singers that ain't singing good music at all

  • *~*~*sigh*~*~* I miss you Waylon.

  • One of Ryan Dunn's favourite, may he rest in peace <3

  • 0:47 ok tell me you saw the gal give it the ol' nob in the cheek! LOL Pretty sad I noticed it. That's not what the focus is here people. Great music by a great legend!

  • I LOVE THAT HAT!!!

  • this for all good country boys

  • Rip Waylon

    Happy Birthday!

  • @Monsterzero6969 Do you think that "white people" were native to America? For the most part, "white people" would have to go to Europe to "take their country back." Maybe the real Native Americans should take the country back from the racists.

  • Love Waylon and all the good old boys.Grew up on rock but love this stuff.

  • Iv only recently started getting into country, Waylon is my favorite. Its such a shame so many country stars died so young.

  • RIP Waylon

  • One of the greatest country music stars of all time. I salute U waylon for being a role model to musicians like me. RIP WAYLON.

  • @MrTHEMAN1994 hey man don't forget Johnny Cash he did more for country music than Waylon, nowever i love waylons music

  • Great song, great stoked voice he carried. It was rumored he carried a pistol as well. Is the pretty girl on the right the girl named "Theresa" who is known to have ass-grabbed Merle?

  • CIAO SLASHERI, grazie per i video che carichi.

  • my grampa old my dad and mom that he used to run cocaine for Waylen back in the day, he said Paul English( willie nelsons drummer) was setting on the barn crowing like a rooster, Paul English also played Avery claver in red headed stranger, he told a bunch of stories about that and i believe him cause my grandfather was a preacher, not at the time but the last 20 years till his death in 98

  • @rmf09024 yes we all know that Waylon was on drugs. but the bad part is that when he got clean, he couldn't sing anymore. the records that he made after he got clean never went anywhere.

  • I think by hating other music, it hinders your ability to enjoy music overall. It's only when you give value to music you do no appreciate, that the music you love becomes even more valuable. I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber or mainstream rap & hip hop, but it does me no well being to hate on that shit, especially when this is a Waylon Jennings video/song and it kicks fucking ass!

  • @megafaded69 Well I HATE it and I'm and I am proud to HATE rap and ghetto trash music. White people need to take their country back we handing it over to the ethnic trash and their loser cultures. WHY do you think they are here at all??? AND since when did new music need 5 millions words in it?? O yeah-since karaoke and ghetto Dj niggah replaced real talent

  • @Monsterzero6969 I bet you're voting for Sarah Palin too huh?

  • @Monsterzero6969 See, in this case your pride and hatred made you out to be a paranoid and ignorant bastard. You know the majority of successful white people in society don't share your close minded views, because you absolutely need an open mind to be successful.

  • @Monsterzero6969 What a racist douche bag you are. It's hate filled idiots like you that give America a bad name. Take off the pointy hat you jackass and come join the 21st century.

  • @Monsterzero6969 Do you think that "white people" were native to America?

  • @Monsterzero6969 Most of them are here because they didn't know that people like you still lived here. They thought that America was a place they could be free of persecution and maybe make a better life for themselves. Also, not every white person likes country, and people from other cultures enjoy it as well.

  • @megafaded69 u place too much value in music. read a book for gods sake!

  • @megafaded69 Ordinarily I'd agree with a sensible comment like this (and I do for the most part) but the difference between Waylon and people like Justin Bieber is this: Waylon started from the bottom during the early days and EARNED his way to being a music legend. People win record contracts on glorified game shows like American Idol. This Bieber kid has been able to wine and dine in places as a TEENAGER that Waylon probably didn't get to until he was established.

  • @clydebarrow34 Waylon, John Cash, and other from that era knew how to sing songs. this new bunch of singers don't have a clue what music is about. Justin Bieber can not sing. he is all show and nothing else along with a lot of the people today that think they can sing

  • @rosemarie443 I agree. I was simply making the point that the kid is talentless and hasn't paid his dues yet has more popularity at his age than Waylon after the first ten years of his career. It's ridiculous.

  • @megafaded69 Yes I agree, but to appreciate some music one requests only that....that it reasonably resembles music.

  • @66bowtiegal hahaha, that was good

  • best post i've ever read!

  • @rmderen Music is for enjoyment. Period.
