To AdamTheMc: Both are grate boards and can be ridden all over the mountain. That being said, The K2 is the board you want if park riding is going to be your main focus. If you want all mountain performance that can also be ridden in the park, then the GNU is where it's at. The Magnatraction edges on the GNU give this board better edge-hold on ice and steeper lines. ok i think i'll do the same. Plus i did a very reliable test: I wrote on two peaces of paper "Gnu" and "K2" and placed them on the floor a my puppy 3 times ran to the Gnu.. so the choice is obvious

I had the same issue and I came to the conclusion that the GNU was a better board for my style (all mountain, jumping into the park every now and then). I think either board would be a good call.

Thanks for posting this review. I have that problem that i can't decide between the Gnu and k2. Unfortunately this video somehow didn't help. I'm a intermediate rider but with little park skills, i'm planing on changing that a learn a lot more freestyle so what board should i choose? I was convinced on the k2 because of the "Good Wood" title and overall look but if i don't have snow park skills shouldn't i get more of a all mountain board? Help me out

the parkstar really is an all-mountain board, i just picked it up and it's sick. You won't be dissapointed man
