In your opinion and experience what minimun size (feet long) ship for this type of trip that it will be "safe"? Say said bigger is safe, bu not every body have a 40 o 50 feet sailing boat.
@henrytlozada After 28 days, the strong unfavorable winds stopped our progress at Long Island, Bahamas. I had to get back home for Christmas. The boat and its owners continued, and made it fjrom Clearwater, FL. to Puerto Rico in 2 months. If the conditions were perfect and you could sail or motor the whole way it would take about 2 weeks.
