  • back when the ricky martin hair cut was cool

  • I'm in love!!!

  • This was when they still made some cool videos, and it's still holds up well. Great album as it was so consistent with its song writing. Didn't really like the next one much as it seemed to revert to standard hardcore rock music.

  • @Truthasvictim ever since piracy became the norm I dont think the artists feel its een worth it to put out a really good video/album anymore... And its hard to blame them when the minute it touches public airspace it gets stolen. But this was a good video for sure!

  • @MyMrBoots I agree totally MRBoots. In those days, as you well know, they used to spend a lot of moneydoing a video this good. Remember the outrageous amounts Jackson spent on thsoe mini-films he made? And just think of how brillaint some of Pete Gabriels videos were. I can still watch those over and over and never get tired of them!

  • @MyMrBoots Good point. But I have one too...The criminals who run everything, our governments, our education and intel, the ones who own every corporation, every big business, the ones who own all the banks that control our monetary system, the fuckers who influence our militaries....guess what? They also control the music n movie industry too. They give us all this entertainment so you dont watch what their doing...I love music, but with the music industry dying,it means we're awakening!

  • see this is exact proof that pretty boys don't always have to do boy band shit...edwin ROCKS!

  • I remember this song when it first came out. i saw it on Muchmusic. Still love it!!!!

  • My brother saw Edwin play at edgefest in Ottawa many many years ago and he said that he hit edwin in the head with a lemon and that he walked off stage. My dad know calls him "Lemonhead"

  • @TAG037 your brother us a fucking idiot and a dumbass. Good job!

  • @TAG037 Wow your brother has class and respect. What a great contribution to society.

    /sarcasm

  • @TAG037

Yah your brother is a douchebag. You should be proud! Sounds like being a douchebag runs in your family.

  • @TAG037 Wow, sounds like a family of losers. Correction, illiterate losers. Your brother ruined a concert for thousands of people because he is a cowardly dog, probably something else that runs in your family. It does not take any courage to throw a piece of fruit from a crowd anonymously, I can only imagine he did it because the singer could kick his lily ass in a man to man confrontation. People in your family should be chemically castrated to prevent them from breeding more losers.

  • i remember seeing a peeler at the "vous" in kamloops dance to this song! so freaking hot, met her 10 years later, we have kids the same age!

  • Trendy, yes - POP no.

    Curb your opinions.

    What you say for 5440?

  • What a FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!!! Unfortunately, when he left IME, he ruined the best Canadian band to come along since Rush.

  • Pop?? How in the hell is this pop??

  • you guys think this is real??

  • ...what?

  • Comment removed

  • fake.

  • I can't believe I ever thought this was cool.

    My god.

  • Hey!!!!! It's still cool... (just don't say it loud and in the presence of others!!) :-D

  • Quite honestly, it's catchy as hell!

  • good times...good times...back when music was good...miss the 90s....

  • woa i forgot about this song. i loved this song back in the day it's still catchy

  • Haha... my friend and I were extras in this video! They made us sway our hands in the air... I refused. lol

  • could you actually see the tattoos move from body to body? lol kiddin

  • As if this is on much more retro...

  • Were old now lol!! anythign 10 years ago is old !! haha!

  • @crackin4life

    jesus. were old

  • Just so everybody knows, Edwin's fronting a new band called "Crash Karma" with a few other guys from bands like The Tea Party

  • THEY GOT THE HENNA TATTOO MADNESS!

  • i can say that i'm a lucky gal that still has his CD lying around... I remember how "big" he was "back in the days" too bad it ended here... i should've gone to his concerts!! ;-D

  • I can only say that Edwin and his band performed at U.Vic, Canada in 2000 and I was lucky to be there enjoying his massive powerful act! It was an unforgettable night!

  • I remember the shoot for this video - the 3rd day went from 3pm to 3am in a warehouse in the west side of Toronto. There were 40 real people in the crowd but they generated a massive crowd by computer. The silver center of each stage speaker were actually made from the bottoms of coke cans. I'm the dude Edwin's girlfriend pushes aside at 3:10 - I got him to sign that shirt at the end of the night when we were all hangin' around.

  • You must get recognized everywhere you go!

  • ha ha...it's my only claim to fame and I'm gonna ride it. Apart from that I'm completely anonymous.

It was cool. They actually told each person where to stand and you couldn't move from that spot the whole time - except for 'nature visits' and feeding. It was kinda neat to see how they made videos... I had no idea 31/2 minutes of film was actually 3 days of filming and months of post production...crazy business.

  • LUCKY you!

  • @lianehtevird did you blow him too?

  • great song. shit video....so corny.

  • one of the best "alive video's"Edwin kikks ass!!

  • I always thought ths was a pretty cool groove tune.

  • the song blows......but the video is cool

  • "Maybe if I sing about California, I'll be a success there!" he probably thought.

Heh. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I didn't much care for the other tracks that received play on this solo album, but I always thought this was a catchy one. I really like the drums in it. Nice forceful, snare and tom fills leading into the chorus, and a "jazzy" groove with the guitars in the verses. Well arranged.

They dropped some coin on the video, looks like. That animation isn't too cheap.

  • been looking many diaz for the video, thanks

  • I bought this cd when it came out and I still have it , it looks like brand new. I was a fan of IME right from their debut Dig. I did'nt know it was hard to find Edwin's solo disc nowadays. Better put it in my safe LOL.

  • I can't find any of Edwin's solo discs after I return home, Hong Kong. Like you, I really treasure this particular album.

  • Maybe a nice person could send you his stuff

  • some canadain groups will do that to you :)
