Wow, thanks for doing this. I'm a big morricone fan and I didn't know about this gem. I don't even like acapella music, but this performance is great.
Holy Crap!!! Just have to say that you gave me shivers down my spine, over my arms and around my neck (if that makes any sense!). Wonderful! Love the high notes, you really pull it all off wonderfully!
How did you come across this song? Are you a Morricone fan? It's such a difficult piece to pull off but you did. ...and your version is better than the original by Christy for the film.
Excelente. Sou fã do filme O DIA DA DESFORRA (LA RESA DEI CONTI) e fã da música também. O vídeo ficou caprichadíssimo. Arte de altíssima qualidade. Meus parabéns e um abraço do Brasil!
So glad to have a friend point me at these! Were you inspired by the Classical Chickens??? Couldn't help but make a connection when I saw it in your faves.
@babyshplargher: I don't know, but I'm interested, too. The problem is, most of the programs I found are not freeware... By the way, what program do you use?
@retsamys@retsamys I used quicktime to capture - logic & melodyne for the audio - then went through three different video softwares trying to sync it - After Effects, iMovie then I downloaded the trial version of Premier - which was the solution... I'm wondering if PC users have software specifically designed for multitrack video, or if they are going through the same amount of steps... I saw one multitrack video post mention Sony Vegas - but that looks similar to Final Cut. . . hmm.
@babyshplargher man, vegas is kinda crazy weird with more musical aspects audio-wise (you can use bars & beats timebase at least).. I'm convinced some more musical stuff is easier in vegas than premiere / final cut / whatever.. (it tends to be a little more forgiving on the CPU too) ..

What a piece of work! Two bad YouTube only lets you do a single thumbs-up (like). This one deserves a lot more. Houston, Texas salutes you!

I have heard many things in my life, but have never heard anything like this.
Awesome.
Move over John Zorn, on the Morricone covers...
