  • Can't thank you enough. Replaced my power mirror (and switched out the shell to color-match my truck)... couldn't have done it w/o this video. Since I could by the OEM mirror assembly on ebay for $300 less than ordering it from Ford, I probably saved over $500.

  • thank you so much for posting this videp i just got vandalized and need to go and fix both of my mirrors, you saved me lots of confusion and money

  • Great video. NOTE for those with manual window crank: window handle cover pops off to reveal a recessed T15 Torx screw which holds the window crank. It was set too deep for my Torx bit holder, but I started it out by holding the bit in a Vise-Grips.

  • thanks guys....i watched video and then outside and installed my new mirror. I had no clue how to do it but after watching the video....it was a piece of cake. WORD

  • Perfect video instruction; just finished installing new mirror. Easy and quick, just like video. Thanks!!!!!

  • Thank you for the video!! I was wondering, where did everyone get their replacement mirrors from? I need a passenger side mirror for my 2007 f150 supercrew, and I don't want to go to the dealer, because for my ford explorer that is 10 years old, they wanted $183 for one mirror. no thanks... went on ebay, got one for like $12 but it wasn't heated and when i drove fast on the highway it shook. lol any suggestions for this one?

  • I owe u guys a case of beer. Thank you so much for your post :)

  • Wonderful! Who needs a dealership repairman when we have videos like this on youtube. As was said before. Saved me $ on labor. I bet car dealers hate these videos. If their rates were not so high we would not need this video. Thanks for the creation and posting!

  • This was a very well done video. No bullshit listening to some guy who gets off on listening ot himself talk. Video and subtitles and straight to the point. I used it to replace my mirror on my '04 Lariat. Thanks for posting.

  • Macias...you are a life saver my brother..My side mirror had a disagreement with my friend's mail box...I bought the mirror on E-bay for $47 and used the video here to change it. Just got done and it was a breeze...Thx again..Saved me lots of money...

  • Thanks for posting this, fellas! It made me feel like I was actually handy, for once in my life. The dealer wanted almost $300 for mirror/installation. You guys saved me about $200. I thank you!!!!!

  • Great video, I was a little uneasy at first about doing it my self, I didn't realize it was so simple. I replaced the stock mirrors on my 05 lariat with the newer extending tow mirrors.

  • Thanks for the video. Changed out the passenger side mirror on my wife's truck without a problem. Sure made it easy once I'd seen it done in your video.

  • Thanks for the video. Saved me $88 for the shop to install it.

  • I agree, thank you very much for posting this video! To add, I found the following socket sizes removed my interior hardware, 11mm, 8mm, 6mm, and 5.5mm for my 2006 Ford Lariat F-150.
