Normally Areatha blows other peoples versions into obscurity but Billie has this song on a different level. I love Aretha however this song should not be touched.

@blundred2 I totally disagree that this song "should not be touched". This song is my life theme song by Miss Billie. But it "has to be touched" by others, because it's meaning is so transcending. (note: I know this comment is 1 year old. lol)

It's great to hear 'RE sing some of these classics. Initially in her career, pre-Respect, she recorded most songs in this genre on Columbia records. She recorded about 8 albums which are now classic. If you get a chance, check them out folks!
