So nice see so many Christian churches in Iran, I hope they are not closed. I'm Georgian and most of Georgians that were settled in Iran were forcefully Islamized, but many of them went to these churches and many of them are burried on their cemetaries. My friend plays soccer in Iranian team and he likes Iran very much and he allways says that its not all true what they say about Iran, as if they are fanatics, people are very nice there

This is a great video!.. Christians have always been part of Iran. They were there before Islam. One of the oldest known Churches in the world is St Mary's - an Assyrian Church in the city of Urmi (north eastern Iran) which was built in the 1st century AD. God Bless all the Christians in Iran.

They're not "getting Christian" Iranian Christians were Christian from the begining of Christianity from the time of Assyrians 2000 years ago. Armenian christian migrants who were recognized as early as 500BC by Dariush the Great migrated to the Azarbaijan of Persia 11th century & later settled in Isfehan in 16th century, also Iranian Jews are some of the oldest known Jews in the world going back 2500 years to the time of Ahaemenid Empire & same for Muslims 1400 years ago through Arabs invasion.

@Hesam0000 Hesamjun, obviously historically Christianity does go back to 100s of years before muslims forced their religion on Iran, but 500BC, we were called Jews looking for our Messiah, not Orthodox Christians :-) It was after Christ's revelation in Antioch, Syria, where we were first called Christians. Yes, I meant Armenians( who became the earliest christians in 3rd century ad.) were recognized as Iranians as early as 500BC long before converting. : )
