I love this song and I love Rufus Wainwright. I really should own one of his albums. I love the feel of his voice. Great video; I just watched "Middlemarch". I love it so much. I wish I had the patience to read the entire novel. I love to read but never have found the time for this one. Rufus Sewell is to die for in this film. Oh, those deep eyes and that sensitive look. Thanks so much for making this and posting it. Love this video best.

So, the BBC TV adaptation is a very good alternative.

I just read it - it's amazing. Please, everyone, do not be deterred by the length, you will not be able to put it down, and George Elliot's narrative is amazing. (Have not seen BBC version yet)

I found this video in search of a good Rufus Sewell video. It's perfect...and Middlemarch is a best kept secret that everyone needs to see. Set aside a day, because it is a long mini series well worth the watch.

Patrick Malahide played Edward Casaubon the way only he could. His style and portrayal of Casaubon made me feel so sad and sorry that the poor man never had much of a life.
