strange.. i go in to insure my motorcylce to find that again the rates have gone up. the rates went up last year to. so my bike goes down in value each year but my insurance goes up. why? because government workers are fed from silver spoons. i would like to be able to shop around for a better rate. ndp is the best choice for a middle class person or family
At least Layton's going to find out that working in the health care system it's all roses and throw-money-at-the-problem until it goes away. All too many people in the NDP that I encounter these days are on the side of conspiracy nuts. Where health care is concerned, they are so hooked on the notion that for-profit health care is destroying public heath care; when, in fact, it is the public heath care that is destroying itself. And you get to see Layton really do some work for a change.
@bearmare Who ever said throw money at the problem til it goes away? Most would agree money is certainly a good start to fix anything, followed by addressing systematic problems (bureaucracy) and improving the overall system, this IS possible you know. It beats throwing money away, like tax breaks for the super rich and billions on jets while cutting social spending. This does nothing for the actual people in this country, yet we're paying for it ALL one way or another.
