Sorry Im getting back to you so late on this. But the HARL is good for mixed power, alot of EMD/Ex-CR power...while the PITL is good for high speed action and good locations. So I guess Im sticking with my home rails.

Thats not a hybrid k5la ,amtrak uses those. It's a K5HL.

Youre correct. The first train was heading to a quarry to drop the train off.

Well it does happen at Horeshoe Curve, theres usually an SD40-2 pair on every train up that grade.

Not really, theres not much grade out here. At least not any big enough to require a DPU helper at the end.

im just curios where exaclty are you filming on the ns main line? i have my own spot to flim just outside of Mckeesport,Pa where you can catch trains on the Pittsburgh CSX Main line. sometime if ur lucky u can catch heavy rail action and sometimes you wont catch anything so give ma notice if u want 2 know about this place

I remember seeing the engineer of 21M walking along the 3rd unit when it was rounding the curve, man that thing was moving, I wonder what it looks like when you're moving that fast and walking along the locomotive!

Yeah I remember when he passed you pojnted that out, its probably neat seeing the ground rush under your feet while crossing, and watching it all fly by at that speed!
