What I'd like to know is, would it be possible to synchronize twin pulsejets in such a way that they provide some level of noise cancellation?

not really, the sound wave isnt symmetrical, so mechanical cancellation isnt effective

I was at that Robodock, saw this crazy thing, unbelievably loud! I thought any moment it was going to come flying off into the crowd or something.
