@faen5863 lol, I'm guessing you heard that one from someone who doesn't actually hear either. You have metal in both. Thing is one pure alternative metal (Tool) and the other is experimental metal/rock.

Try this. Listen to Lazarus from PT and then listen to The Grudge from Tool and decide how similar they are hehehehe!
