Um dos melhores estilos musicais pra se ouvir em um carro conversível em uma boa estrada!!! Falar mais nada, só clássico!!!! Classic songs 4ever!!! From: Brazil.
How hard is it to download all these hits from the internet though? I mean, you go on iTunes or the like, type in the name, click buy. Not that tough. :)
I'm amazed at how many of these songs (being 19) I know. Heck, I've even seen the first two (Doobie and Chicago) live. Picked up a lot of music taste from my parents I suppose.
(2:47) "all these songs bring back a lot of wonderful memories.." directly followed by "....Im all out of love..im so lost withou you.." yes. wonderful memories indeed!!
(2:47) "all these songs bring back a lot of wonderful memories.." directly followed by "....Im all out of love..im so lost withou you.." yes. wonderful memories indeed!!
I've watched this infomercial too many times to remember. I used to stay up until 5:00 watching TV and used to run across this infomercial various times during the night. Anyone else find the fact that the dudes from Air Supply are chilling in someone's living room drinking lemonade and talking about 70s hits?
Also, I think I'm the only person amongst my peers that actually likes this music.
I download everyone of these songs after seeing this commercial about 50 times when i was younger and i love every one of them still, thanks time life for giving me the titles and limewire for supplying them!
@indyfan22k Dude i'm 23 , and this is some of my favorite kind of music ever! My mom and dad raised me on this kind of music. Every song has a memory for me , or takes me to a time and place i never lived in but can imagine what it was like. It's called having unique and wonderful taste!
Oh man! That's the song I have been looking for tonight when I stumbled on this page and decided to wait and see if I heard it because I could not remember the words. Year of the Cat - Al Stewart. Sweet!
I rebember watching these time life commercials while staying in a very nice Nappa Valley inn. I couldnt stop watching it then as i cannot stop it now, it`s so weird.
I'm a teenager, but I have a secret obsession/total love for this infomercial. ;) The corniness of Air Supply and the clothes they wore in the 70's is impossible not to love! I like the music a lot too. :) I remember a few years ago my Mom would watch this infomercial during the summer as well as a few other Time Life ones. Occasionally, like tonight, I go on youtube just to see it again ;)
songs i like here include baker street, listen to the music*, saturday in the park*, dreams, babe*, ventura highway, into the night, i just wanna stop, steal away, this is it, how long, horse with no name, daniel, piano man*, american pie, diamond girl, hello it's me, i'm not in love, year of the cat, show me the way, key largo, baby come back, hearts, ride like the wind, summer breeze, maggie may, lowdown, you can do magic, and handy man*.
These commercials were so great because they sometimes showed some really rare footage and performances from the artists. like when there was this Journey hits collection ad too, where they showed some extremely rare Journey/Steve Perry footage. Time Life should of released a DVD full of these performances to accompany this fantastic set as a bonus! Imagine!?
alguien me puede decir, como se llama el grupo o la cancion con la que inicia este comercial de time life??....es la del saxofòn = someone can tell me, as it is called the song or group which started this commercial for Time Life, is the composition of SAXOPHONE...Gracias.....
Haha, just like my parents! They grew up with these great tunes (which got me into them, and I'm only currently 27 years old), but they don't know their way around an iPod, lol...hence, I'd buy them this collection for X-mas
@infomercialtime I'm 33 my iPod continues to have no music on it. The stupid thing didn't even come with instructions on how to download music! Pretty presumptuous of them to think everybody already knows how. I managed to download a song onto the computer, but putting it onto the Pod? it's Greek.
Man, this came on EVERY night for at least two years going there. I remember seeing this ad when I was working a graveyard shift at a tech center. It got so bad that a bunch of us working would take bets on what the next song previewed would be (but we all knew what was next). It was pretty pathetic, but there was not much else to do on that shift.
the 70's actually had some decent soft rock... granted im more of a hard rocker of that time (big fan of black sabbath/deep purple/aerosmith/judas priest) but this music ain't too bad.
70% of teenagers have turned to Hip Hop and Rap.If you are part of the 30% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another 5 videos.
Why doesn't Time Life release a DVD of all these performances we see in the informercials I would pay a lot of money for that! We can definitely find all these songs on the internet, but the actual videos need to be remastered and put out on DVD/Blu-Ray then you can have the ultimate INFORMERCIAL playing in your home theatre with 7.1 surround sound all uncut with no hosts interrupting just classic timeless music.
Thanks to Time-Life infomercials I probably wouldn't know half the 1950s-1970s music that bypassed me. I credit them for part of my music education, so keep on watching people!
