  • A hockey color commentator I was listening to on the radio a couple of days ago was mentioning what a cool town Hoboken is. Normally they stay in Newark when covering the NJ Devils but this time had to book rooms in Hoboken. He said they were most impressed with the general atmosphere of the place. Well, if I ever get to NYC I'll have to check Hoboken out!

  • I was a 1970's Union City Cuban, that grew up in Bergen County and now back in Hudson County. Glad to see I'm not the only Hoboken Cubano!

  • I finally moved from Hoboken to San Antonio, Texas in August of 2008 after living in Hoboken all of my life. I have been back three times since. I was just there from 12/25/2009 through 01/01/2010. Seeing this film made me homesick again.

  • PS the Clam Broth house is closed now.

  • @ShannonAvalon

  • You did a great job, love choice of music and really touched me cause it brings back so many fond memories of my grandparents apt on 103 Willow Ave. It really changed since they moved away in 1978. Thanks for the memories.

  • nice video,we were neighbors I lived at 303 Bloomfield St. from 1962 to 1968,went to St Peters& Paul, played baseball at hoboken little league...great memories

  • I was born there in 1963 and moved in 1969. My older sister is 11 years older than me. She went to Hoboken High. I'm sure your family knew mine. Small world!!!

  • I have a younger sister that was born there in 65,I bet you two were running up and down bloomfield st., back in the day,I was always at Demerest playing stick ball with my freinds.

  • What's your last name - I'll ask my mother and my sister if they remember your family. Ours is Milian. My parents moved from Cuba to Hoboken in 1957. My grandmother lived at 309 Bloomfield, right near you. They MUST have known each other. My grandmother moved there in1955 or 56.

  • i was born in 63, my parents came from cuba in the 60's. went to our lady of grace. lived at 325 bloomfield from 71 til 77. we moved to miami in 77. seeing your video brought back old times, thx kenny alvarez

  • What a great video, So many memories of Hoboken, I was naming all the places, as I watched

  • I lived at 416 Bllomfield next to Demarest. I left when I was 18 and now live in San Diego. I went back 8-10 yrs ago for my 30th high school reunion and had a great time seeing the old neighborhood.

  • I grew up on 323 Grand st. way back in 1961. Then I moved to 612 Clinton st. next to what used to be Rocco's liquor store(It was Klemeyer's before that if your old enough to remember like me.). Stayed at that address until 1969, when I finally moved out. Was just there last week for the feast. I was confirmed and had my communion in St. Ann's church(still there), and went to St. Ann's school(now St. Francis). The place sure has changed alot from way back when....

  • Hi, my parents also came from Cuba in 1960. I was born at St. Mary's Hospital in 1967. My brother was born in 1962. We used to live at 243 Garden St. until I was 5 and then we moved around a lot. I left Hoboken in 1983 right on the onset of all the changes taking place. It's completely different from the way it used to be when I grew up there. I went to St. Peter and Paul School on Hudson and then went to St. Joseph's High School in WNY. I came down to Miami in 1983.

  • Cool! Our parents must have known each other. I was born in St. Mary's in 1963. I went to David E. Rue (spelling?) Elementary. My older sister went to Our Lady of Grace. My dad had a print shop on Washington Street and he also drove the City bus. We moved to Miami in 1969 and I've been here ever since. Thanks for sharing.

  • What a blast of the past. I left Hoboken twelve years ago. It's good to see that it didn't change all THAT much (even though that path train scene just blew me away...) 333 Bloomfield - must have passed that building a thousand times on my way to Fabian's. Thanks for sharing and good luck!
