You've played too much cod5, the ppsh was very expensive to make and the amount of ammo it used was absurd. Not to mention its small cal. Thompson meanwhile using a .45 packs a lot of punch.

The .45 had more of a punch, but 7.62x25 round had more penetration. And the cost, well, i didn't think it was that expensive to make, but i could be wrong. Guess thats why we have our friend the PPS-43.

That's an incredibly stupid statement that's only a little bit right. The Tommy gun was very expensive to make, a heavy machined reciever vs a stamped reciever of the ppsh which was very cheap to make.

And the PPsh and PPDs were so scarce that bullets for the gun stopped being produced not even half way through the war. this one is actually the WWII Tommygun, the 1921 Colt Tommy (with vertical foregrip and drum magazine) is the one that was popular in the 20's.
