  • im looking for a 6 stag Compression can you help

  • I kinda agree with Gorilla beatz. I personally know people who do the same thing. Its crazy. I've spent the last two years learning, experimenting asking questions about different recording techniques,. I've never heard of this two stage compression. I dont know how it will sound with R&B type tracks and software based compression, but i'm gonna experiment with it. Thanks Mike. Your the man.

  • Ironic how atrocious the intro music is...

  • Good technique I use this for individual tracks ie vocal etc. but I prefer automating the threshold for the 2bus

  • Thank you, you're the man

  • Guys this is some real master insight !

  • I agree, i can respect guys like this and myself who have actually spent their lives learning the logical aspects of pro audio engineering.......what i dont respect are these fruity loop assholes who make "beats" and then call themselves "engineers".......wtf

  • They're "producers". haha

  • @GorillaBeatz1 I learned all i know from Fl Studio( reg'd user since 2001), everyone has their opinion.

I thought the finished product was all that mattered anyways? Sooo anyways **"FL Studio"** has a multi-band compressor, Hi mid and Low bands seperately, I can use your method with that.

  • @GorillaBeatz1 hold on a second - i use fruity loops - I use it as one would use any other DAW - I too dislike when people believe that their "beats" are "sick" - those are the same type of people who use beats headphones... Does the fact that I use fruity loops make me any less capable of an engineer (relax - i am more of a synthesist anyway)

  • rightious

  • Very nice, I love this vid.

  • why u dont use expander plus the compressor it can solve the problem?

  • You're the man! I'm having this problem right this second! Thnx

  • i`m tryingh to get this magazine i heard it`s great
