i mite actually watch this movie just cause james franco is in it and cause of m.i.a.'s song playing in the background...which is weird cause i couldnt fully get through the first five minutes of super bad...it was pretty bad. im all about the funny; stupid potheads and villians but if it anything close to superbad i wont waste my time...hopefullish though....like the part the guy says "thug life" in a high voice

i almost cried when i heard M.I.A's "paper plane" being played during the trailer for this. i honestly thought she had more integrity as an artist but instead she allowed one of her best songs to be bought so that when people think of the song, they think of this movie, which is disturbing the way it shamelessly follows the same formula that brings in big $ off dumbasses who want to see the latest superbad/knocked up/sarah marshall/ brand crap. what ever happened to genuine humor?

Bro just cause it's mainstream doesn't mean it sucks. I love indie music but M.I.A is 10,000 times better than all the other chart toppers. I'd much rather see an indie-electronic artist (like M.I.A) get money and publicity from a GENUINELY funny movie, rather than some fake pop artist. The fact of the matter is that she's still the way she is (weird and original) just on a wider more popular spectrum.
