  • I have ancestors that lived in Black Rock in 1850. The census had Black Rock as a separate town from Buffalo at that time. I am so proud of my Buffalo roots! Miss my parents and grandparents who were part of those roots!

  • I love small towns. People are less competitive and success driven. They are all kind of stuck there, and open to being friends, and that is a far superior attitude if you ask me!

  • Thanks for the little video, I know this neighborhood well, it use to be a Polish neighborhood. I grew up not far from it, in fact I was baptized at Assumption Chruch on Amherst St way back in 1955.

  • i use to live next door to that firehouse for 17 years...soo many memories. A great poet lived there and he would sit at the very top and write about the things he saw outside, really cool. I lived at 140 east street, i know that neighborhood in and out. nice video.

  • That fire station at 0:32 is gorgeous.

  • There are indeed many beautiful old buildings in Black Rock/Riverside.

I was nice to come across your video. I was starting to think I was the only one posting stuff about the area.
