well my wireless network was working well for three weeks but now it shows limited acces, so i then reset my computer, but now it still dosent work now i have no internet. i called the d link computer and there telling me about a usb port any comments on that, should i buy one how do i set it up? or should i just not go with wire;ess and go with wired connection meaning just buy a long cord and put it from one end of the computerr to the other? in need of help reply soon plz.
i have acces to the intern but evry 2-4 hours My D-Link wireless get Desconned so i have to turn it off and turn on again to get back to the internet. i been having this problem essue sence i got it.
Those D-Links really suck i would recommend a NetGear or a Cysco Linksys
and your problem is that the router gets too hot and turns off the internet in port so to remedy this, put it next to an open window, fan, or leave it in an open place where there is enough airflow to keep it cool
it was strange... i had a connection called "netgear" already in the start the netgear internet didn't work, so i had to use the xp connection instead. now yesterday when i was trying to put more RAM in it it just desepeard unfortunately the netgear still don't work... and i dont know how to use the xp connection agian :S:S:S:S:S
if aneone have any suggestions or whatever i would be happy to read, please in my INBOX

wow fucking pathetic and simple. You don't understand how to setup a wireless router hire a professional why do you want to stress over a head ache for no reason. Thats what I thought very simple task though on any router configuration.
and got to the part where i have to do my username and password. I have d-link, and the user is admin, there's no pass word, but i cannot loggin! HELP!
Thanks Frank but I am a Key Lime in a barrel of large apples. My son came this a.m. and called Linksys. I called the wrong Linksys. There is another company with the same name and they charge $3.50 a min. First let me thank you for getting me off my duff and doing something about this problem. He said I could never have done it because it defies logic. I plan to continue with your videos to change file formats but if you can over, then well.........See ya.
The web UI is NOT linksys.. it's D-Link, sparkle. But they practically have the same basic setup.
With D-Link and Linksys don't charge phone/voice technical support as long as your device is withIN free service warranty, which runs 12 months to 3 years.
I had a BEFW11S4, it only has a year free service warranty so they charge 29.95...so I opt to buy a new wireless G router... it has a 5-yr-warranty.
It's me again Frank. Where's the rest of it? I bought a Linksys router not knowing that it cost money to get text support from Linksys. They charge $3.50 a minute and you must gave a credit card number before you speak to anyone. If that's not enough my cousin gave me a Mac yesterday and I am still at "do not pass go and do not collect $200.00 with this PC. Can you come over. Bring the family. That young lady with the cut and past video is ahead of me.
Hiya Sparkle....the rest in the recieving unit on the computer itself? Assuming you've got XP and I think you do you have two choices. One is a PCI card the other is a usb unit. If you want easy go with the usb. Performance is equal. Virtually ALL recievers are plug and play for setup. Just remember if you didn't set security it should be able to auto connect. If you did setup security on the base then you have to use the same 'key' on the reciever :)

You should Educate your viewers a lot more dude. Like explain the concept to your viewer so they understand why they are using any Wireless Transmitter in the first place.

Did they charge your phone bill or did you have to have a credit card? I need to call tech support, and was wondering how they charge. Thanks!
