Mostly correct, but I'd say monotheistic religion has ruined the world, or more specifically conversionist monotheism. The worst of them being christianity. That little meme was responsible for the fall of Rome, the burning of the library of Thebes, the Dark Ages and contiues to screw things up to this day.
