  • So mean about their water effects D':

Bethesda worked hard on those water effects! -points at the other games- x3

(Yes I must leave lots of comments because I am waay too bored in the night)

  • The water effects in Arena are just... awful. Of course they'd get better over time.

  • i thought this was minecraft xD

  • It helps to read the title.

  • i only think oblivion is fun at like level 15-25 but after awhile it gets boring...

  • It's always boring.

  • yo what do u think, since you responded so quickly i might ask you, whats the best TES so far? considering both graphic and Gameplay

  • As I've said many, many times before, the best in the series is Daggerfall.

  • @DWTerminator thanks alot, and sorry for the many questions, but why not oblivion?

  • Oblivion's a hollow shell of a game, really.

  • compare this to skyrim

  • It's much more of an RPG than Skyrim, that's for sure.

  • @DWTerminator look ok i think your a good lper and rpger but it hasn't even come out yet, so dont knock it till you try it. now im not a graphics whore and, i think gameplay is worth 20 billion times more important than graphics but graphics are nice now ang again and all that jazz. nothing will beat arena still wait till you try it ,to critisize it

  • I'll assume you're talking about Skyrim here (I'm not sure what the "Arena" bit is doing in there)... in which case if I treat it as an RPG, it'll be a massive disappointment because it's a guarantee that it'll be an action game with VERY loose RPG elements. Same exact thing happened with Oblivion.

  • @DWTerminator fair enough

  • @DWTerminator oh and "uuuuhhhh"

  • Bah, ghouls... *readies Steel Longsword of Luck*

  • @DWTerminator lol

  • @DWTerminator to be honest: it seems to me that TES has been an action game with loose rpg elements from the start.Yes the stats changed, yes terms are different, and yes it has gotten easier to do things, but there is no difference I have founds so far.You can still dungeon crawl if you want, but they're not the only place you can find things...wait a second...yes they are?!I've gone into so many dungeons for so many quests.Tell me exactly what the loose rpg elements are, cause I don't I get it.

  • The less the game gets affected the stat system, the less of an RPG it is. Hence why Oblivion (and Skyrim) is really just an action game: if you removed the stats it'd play almost exactly the same. Morrowind and before are all extremely reliant on the stat system for their gameplay... which is of course what the mainstream (read: ignorant masses) doesn't like because it's "too complicated."

  • @DWTerminator Well, stats always affect things in an rpg. If you don't level up, then your damage will not hit as hard, your magic won't burn as hot, and your armor won't protect you as well as it should. It's just my opinion, I'd have to check on it myself before I can fully express my opinion.

other than that, You're doing a good job on this let's play.

  • Looking for a new LP to watch. I've watched up to 8 (this) so far, was wondering if the LP is complete or still in the works, I'd appreciate a response. Thanks :-)

  • Currently on-hold. It will be finished eventually, but the editing process is ridiculously annoying and I don't have the time to either edit or record LP's right now. Maybe during my semester break I'll get back to it.

  • Theres just something that freaks me out about the zombies in these games.

  • They're not zombies in Arena. These are ghouls.

  • I Lol'd just as much as u did when I heard that ghoul haha

  • It's pretty crazy.

  • Thank you for finally bringing this back!

  • Still extremely sporadic... but glad you're liking it. Been trying to get part 10 up for the past couple of weeks with no success. -_-

  • mace for skeletons i just use a silversword.

  • That works too, but I'm just used to them being vulnerable to blunts, so I opt for the mace.

  • Is there anything NOT in this dungeon?

  • Uh... rogues and evil wizards aren't.

  • @DWTerminator

OH, and I have a question, Are there any boss fights in this game? Probably not, but just asking. I know Fallout 3 didn't have any boss fights. Which is ashame because it had such a great universe for boss fights! I wanted to fight a giant, cyclops with two heads, with a wart that shoots puss at me

  • As far as I know, there's only one boss fight, and it's at the very end of the game.

  • The minotaurs look like yellow dudes with freakin bull mask

  • The ghouls are worse... At least you can tell what the minotaurs are.

  • So glad your back to this I just can't find a good lp of it anywhere else

  • Glad you like it.

  • What do you use gold for?

  • It's money.

  • @DWTerminator

Do you use it to upgrade stuff?

  • No. You buy equipment, potions, and the like with it, as well as use it to pay the Mages Guild to identify your loot.

  • OMFG, I love you!
