I have the old record of this, and I grew up on it...For many years, the only recording of this I could find was the Sesame St version. I am happy I can find more than one, now. That means that Buffy is becoming more important and meaningful to people.
Good one, for sure. Thanks for sharing, Max.If I'm not mistaken, the mouth bow is referred to as the juice harp by many of us unrefined country music appreciators.
Buffy's mastery of the Mouth Bow is most impressive here. I have this 1996 cd,"Up Where We Belong",and "Cripple Creek" is among my favorites. I love her pure and unadulterated rendition of this traditional chestnut,no frills nor slickness...just simple and direct singing.
Thanks for posting. I must share this with other You Tubers who certainly appreciate Buffy's fine work.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful recording of one of my favourite singers, Max. I've subscribed to this channel immediately. So glad you drew my attention to it.
That's so WONDERFUL you saw HER Live! I LIVE to see her LIVE! She prob doesn't even Tour in the US or Westcoast at all? I have albums that SURE GOT PLAY on my stereo :D I sang along w/ them all. I went to Pow Wows at least :)

YES, she demonstrates the Mouth Bow in another one. She's amazing how she can get the rhythms & sounds from a bow.
