I just spanked a GTR on the parkway tonight with my 09 335xi running a JB3 and dual air intake. What a sleeper,, I pulled away from him in a 70-140mph pull. Sorry, BMW RULES! Best $675 I ever invested in a car!

I ask because I was looking to get the Dinan Stage 3 upgrade but to qualify, you have to get the Dinan inter-cooler and oil cooler. If you get their software upgrade, CAI and freeflow exhaust, you're looking at 404 hp and 440 lb ft tq

KHD3089 you do realise that the gtr can do over 300km/h.. The cl65's top speed is 250 although it is governed, but hay they are stock so the gtr wins, it's also just over 1 second quicker to 100km/h. The gtr would annihalate it in the wet and it's also quicker around neurenburg. 65 has nothing on the new gtr.
New gtr does 325km/h see youtube-(nissan gtr top speed on track 325km/h. Besides the Cl65 is restricted to 250km/h in stock showroom format. So stock v's stock the gtr would win a top speed battle.
I think it would be best to see these three cars race again from a rolling start because it's just the issue of getting off from a standstill that is determining the winner

Now if the F10 ever has the final production V8 Twin turbo engine put in then it would gain twice the torque than the current E60 M5 and gain some time 0-60. These cars are built for different purposes. the GTR is a solid performer off and on the track , but it doesnt look so great aesthically. If your going to track the car alot then its for you. I'm both for looks and performance so I'll go for a cl 63 amg or M5.

Just face it people, the GTR will wipe the floor with your SL65s and your M6s. But don't get me wrong, I love German engineering but you will need a SLR Mclaren to keep up with the GTR. And even with a $499,000 price tag, it would be a drivers race.

bmw will hit over 200mph... i think the merc is not far behind... at one part the e60 m5 boasted the fastest top speed out of all sedans... 204mph if de-limited... both the merc and the bmw do have governers as i believe the gtr does...

Just face it people, the GTR will wipe the floor with your SL65s and your M6s. But don't get me wrong, I love German engineering but you will need a SLR Mclaren to keep up with the GTR. And even with a $499,000 price tag, it would be a drivers race.

just because a car has like 500 horsepower doesnt mean its meant for performance/track, etc. look at nissan, amazing car, half the price, under 500 horsepower, but it still beats ur typical 911 gt2, the point im trying to make is that, the m6 is yes a performance car with a lot of luxgery, where as the nissan is a supercar, the competition is the 911 gt2, and cars along that line, the cl and the bmw are in the same league, with performance and lungery, but the nissan is completly diferent....
