That's some beautiful imagery, but I never understood what was up with the designs of the fish. There's a number of pictures in the album in which heads from those things are placed onto various people.

Might have something to do with the Hunter and the Hunted. Or the spirits of the Sea and Sky of Honey, where Man is somewhere in between. Only Kate knows.

it's almost like classical music. its like when you listen to really good classical music and then eveything else sounds crap and horrible compared to it. i wonder if she uses more classical time things or something

It is a great song - but this version lacks the intense emotion of the original - this is a more scientific approach to emaotion - it does not work as well.

@andrew1236 It is stylistically minimalist in nature and is therefore less energetic than the original. Instead it is more reflective. The sparse accompaniment floats through the vocals in a timeless haze. Both the video and music sooth my soul. I think it is genuinely stunning.

For me this song's beauty lies in the concept there are three realities. Past, Future and Present . I think you encapsulated this magnificently in this video. Using the new life as the present but in the primordial soup form the past and leaving the present just out of view.

I love this new version so much. It laps the ordinal several times. I always thought it was to short and felt Kate did this for contractional reason. In my opinion.

I've grown up with Kate (bought WH on vinyl when I was 7) and loved the way she has grown and changed as a musician. She should be very proud of DC and YOU should be very proud of this lovely video! As for me, I'm not planning any more DC videos at the moment, I'm taking a bit of a time out to listen to it and enjoying watching what other people are doing, and playing catch up with all the other stuff I'd put to one side for the last few months while I was getting to my personal target of 300 vids, of which more than half of them have been KB ones, so I think I'm due a rest ha ha! Keep up the great work, you're very talented!

This song is amazing. When I first heard the original version I couldn't believe me ears! So beautiful and brilliant! And this one is more airy... more... transcendental? Cosmic. The twinkling... And DC is my favourite album so far. I am so greatful Kate Bush released it!
