It seems this lo-fi style is reserved only for Chino and co's B-sides and acoustic versions, whether it be with Deftones or Team Sleep. I just meant I wish he'd create a side project dedicated entirely to this kind of sound. Teenagers, this song, the Cherry Waves acoustic version and Your Skull is Red acoustic version all feel like they could go on an album together, and it would be brilliant :)

@TwoTube2 Oh, I know of some post-rock bands that are similiar but if you're looking for acoustic type lo-fi check out some of Matthew Good Band's albums "The Audio of Being" or "Beautiful Midnight" or even Matthew Good's solo stuff especially "Avalanche". There are other groups and other bands but I can't recall them at the moment.
