  • that is so cool

  • This was very useful!! I wish I has seen it before sewing up my latest project (a fox), I just couldn't understand the instrucion that was on the pattern, nothing made sense, but now I am crystal clear!!

  • Thank u for this tutorial I just started knitting on a loom and will have panels I would like to connect and now thanks to u I know how!

  • Thank you so much! I now see what I was doing wrong with this stitch. Hopefully my seams will look a little nicer from now on.

  • Excellent!

  • Hi! What do I do with the loose end when finished?

  • Thank you for making this so easy to understand great video.

    Kyddoemiko.

  • Super helpful! Thanks.

  • Hi, thank you for the great tutorial. Your video demonstrates the chain edge stitch with stockinette stitch. I have squares I need to seam that have a chain edge stitch with a garter stitch. How can I use the mattress stitch with my squares? When I pull my stitches apart, I do not have any bars as you demonstrated in the video. So, I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to grab. Thanks for the help.

  • Wow, thank you. Someone told me to see chunky knitting like this, so am about to try it. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

  • Your video is amazing: its simple, clear, and concise---and totally helpful! Thank You!!!

  • a million times THANK YOU

  • a million times THANK YOU

  • Your videos are the best very clear and concise. As I do the stitch, I am reminiscent of my mom being next to me and trying to explain (her patience was very thin) but at least you don't rip it out!!! and I can watch it over and over until 'I get it'....LOL! I always thought I was slow but it may have been the way it was explained....Thanks!

  • I can't possibly add a comment that hasn't been already said. Thank you for your video and converting this whip-stitcher to a mattress-stitcher easily and quickly!

  • Thank you so much! This is really clear and easy to see. I have a really nice and delicate top I am making, and I couldn't seam it properly, but I think I can now thanks to you :)

All the other video's are a bit difficult to see what's happening, and books I have on knitting make Mattress Stitch sound uber complicated, and when you look at the diagram and read the notes, my brain scrambles!

    Thanks so much for sharing

  • Superb! Your videos are all so clear and concise. I refer to them every time I need help. Thank you.

  • OH THANK GOD!!!! Finally can see how its done - you're a legend!!

  • Thanks sooo much. This is the ONLY video I have ever seen that actually shows the stitches close enough that you can we can see what you are doing. Now I finally know where to place the needle for this stitch. A+

  • does this work on a garter stitch like it does with stockinette?

  • I had never heard of this stitch and my jumper that im knitting had to be sown up this way.Thank you for showing me how to do it.

  • awesome something I never learnt from my grandmother and always wondered why her garments looked better than mine.......................Thankyou

  • Very good you make it so easy to understand Thanks a million

  • I have watched several videos on this process...Yours is the only one that makes sense to me. Thank you so much for getting the camera close to the project so that I can see where to put the yarn. Many videos only showed how to do this so far away I didn't understand what stitch they were talking about...Again THANKS!

  • Wow this makes so much more sense now! Thanks!
