It's actually the bassists that most people don't pay attention to because they're "background noise". Personally, I don't think so. I love Toshiya, he's my favorite bass player in the world. Most drummers have terrible egos and they can't stay still! (I'm dating a drummer and am friends with several.) They have plenty of fans.

@1337babe I agree to an extent. Most bassists aren't recognized. But drummers work is underestimated a lot too although they are recognized. I also disagree with drummers having a big ego. My best friend is a AMAZING drummer but he's the nicest person ever..

Kyo has always had a habit of writing new lyrics for songs when they perform live, presumably because he wants to sing alone.

So... nope, these aren't officially available. Maybe get someone to transcribe them if you're curious.

This is awesome. I would have preferred that Kyo would sing the original lyrics though. By the way, you can see Shinya's work better in this video. And he's really good. It made me think that people usually don't pay much attention to drummers, am I wrong?

ihave to agree. but my constant listenting to dir en grey, only in the last few weeks have i noticed the sheer brillinace of shinyas drumming, particulalry in this album and especially in VULAGR, he adds such an intesity and a pacing to the songs that dir en grey would simply not be the same without him¬¬
