I have been having dreams and visions, in one-I saw a large square, coming out of the air about the size of 4 or more baseball fields,I was thinking it was an alien ship (i was so confused) but could it be a city? Also I had a dream of darkness all around and gathering people to bring them to safety (there are several others) lastly,one where the earth was about to be hit by a planet,but this alien race came and offered to take people away to their planet, but the aliens were fake

@GingerMM Israel became nation in May of 1948. Bible indicates the generation that sees rebirth of Israel will be generation that sees return of Christ. Generation is 70 years long which means if our interpretation is correct, Christ second coming is no later than May of 2018. This means at latest the Tribulation has to start no later than May of 2011. Whatever the year, I firmly believe the rapture will occur during Roshashanah, Feast of Trumpets. If Pre Trib is correct, fall of 10 is it.
@GingerMM I share all this with a disclaimer, I am not being dogmatic about the possibility of a 2010 rapture. I'm just saying that if there ever was a time to be looking up, this is it. If it isn't this year, I need a good lesson in bible exegesis/interpretation. Just because scripture says we don't know the day or hour, it isn't silent on clues that indicate general timing or seasons. I am not a biblical scholar.

Then Daniel 9:24-27 as 49yrs and 62wks until Jesus returns to reign -7 years for the tribulation period then Daniel 9:26 annointed one cut off aka raptured occurs 42yrs +62wks after Decree to restore rebuild Jerusalem. June 1967 Israel captured Jerusalem +42yrs 62wks August 2010 results. It makes sense that they would say lets rebuild the city after the war was over.

Can someone please tell me when the Hebrew New Year (Rosh Hashanah) was changed from the first month of the Hebrew year to the seventh month and merged with the feast of trumpets? It was not always that way. (compare Exodus 12:1-2 with Leviticus 23:23-24) Thank you.
There are different "new years." The Bible does not say that Abib is the New year. It says it is the "beginning of months."
There is also another third New Year, though it is recognized in a different manner. Tu Bishvhat is the New Year for trees. (You have laws that govern the age of trees. You have to start counting somewhere.)
In other words, the civil year begins at one time, the religious year begins another. Tishri acually means "beginning."
"And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year unto you." (Exodus 12:1-2) -- Not only is it the beginning ("rosh" i.e. "head") of months, it is also the "first month of the year"; Association with "Tishri" happended during the Babylonian exile when the Babylonians celebrated their new year. Before the exile months were known by their numeric value, i.e. the first, second, etc.
Of course. Pagan influence is an issue. This is also why you find the first month called Abib in Exodus and Deuteronomy, and Nisan in Nehemiah and Esther. (Are we any better with January 1? Look it up.)
I am not by any means enough of a scholar to speak authoritatively on this, but I have been told there is a dispute in the Talmud over the date the civil year turns over. As in any debate over proper execution of a deed, somebody has to win. See Deut 17:9 and compare with Matt 23:1,2
I agree 100%. I've heard of the same rabbincal dispute over dates in the Talmud. I participated in a Rosh HaShana 5770 service and was amazed at the confusion in biblical doctrine that occured as a result of twisting the "first month" into the "seventh month" and the "seventh month" into the "first month". Example: (was) New Year-1st & Trumpets=7th; (now) New Year=7th & Trumpets=7th? It is very difficult at best to turn long standing traditions. It is always easier to make an individual change.
It may be easier in some cases for an individual to make his own decision, but it has to be weighed against the unity of the community.
It is interesting to me that while Jesus had a lot of disagreement with the religious leadership of His day, he reinforced their authority, as we see in:

Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Yes, while Jesus acknowledged their seat, He Himself deliberately broke their additions and subtractions from the Torah, e.g. sabbath healings. Obedience is commanded only is as much as it is aligned with truth. As the scripture says, "Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment." (Ex. 23:2) Bending the truth is forbidden. Even Peter said "We ought to obey God rather than man." (Acts 5:29). That's my personal choice.

Yes, Rosh HaShanah is the day but which one is the question. In 1991 after praying and fasting I was to read the Bible again from the guidance of the Holy Ghost. Well infact, perry stone is not absolute about the rapture right on the feast of trumpets, but he says in other vids that it could be a possibility as for God has always respected His time table.
The door of grace (grace period) ends with the Rapture - as salvation from that point for tribulation depends not on salvation by grace through faith, but on martydom ->wise virgins (for a 2nd mid trib. rapture [for martyrs), note this is after the initial pre-trib secret rapture.
So the concealing of the moon makes sense in that it marks the start of a graceless time.

Take a look at Exodus 12:1-2 for when God calls the "rosh" or "head" of the year. "Tishri" is what Israel adopted as "rosh" when they were exiled in Babylon when the Babylonians celebrated new year.

no man knows the hour, but if you read the verse before that in Mathew 24:35 you see, "HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY"...
mathew 24:36 goes on to say , BUT OF THAT DAY AND HOUR KNOWETH KNOW MAN.

If the rapture doesn't happen in that time frame, I will wait until next year. With that said, however, there are many compelling reasons why I think the rapture will be this fall.

@GingerMM Israel became nation in May of 1948. Bible indicates the generation that sees rebirth of Israel will be generation that sees return of Christ. Generation is 70 years long which means if our interpretation is correct, Christ second coming is no later than May of 2018. This means at latest the Tribulation has to start no later than May of 2011. Whatever the year, I firmly believe the rapture will occur during Roshashanah, Feast of Trumpets. If Pre Trib is correct, fall of 10 is it.

@GingerMM I share all this with a disclaimer, I am not being dogmatic about the possibility of a 2010 rapture. I'm just saying that if there ever was a time to be looking up, this is it. If it isn't this year, I need a good lesson in bible exegesis/interpretation. Just because scripture says we don't know the day or hour, it isn't silent on clues that indicate general timing or seasons. I am not a biblical scholar.

Then Daniel 9:24-27 as 49yrs and 62wks until Jesus returns to reign -7 years for the tribulation period then Daniel 9:26 annointed one cut off aka raptured occurs 42yrs +62wks after Decree to restore rebuild Jerusalem. June 1967 Israel captured Jerusalem +42yrs 62wks August 2010 results. It makes sense that they would say lets rebuild the city after the war was over.

Rapture is this year, 2010. If you don't believe in Jesus Christ, then you'll believe after you miss the rapture and you can give your life to Jesus Christ after getting your proof. @zzzxion33: I like Perry's teachings also. However you need to look up some of Zola Levitt's videos. He was (he passed away) a Messianic Jewish Rabbi and was the best bible teacher ever. His TV show is still running with his wife, son's and friends.

Can someone please tell me when the Hebrew New Year (Rosh Hashanah) was changed from the first month of the Hebrew year to the seventh month and merged with the feast of trumpets? It was not always that way. (compare Exodus 12:1-2 with Leviticus 23:23-24) Thank you.

There are different "new years." The Bible does not say that Abib is the New year. It says it is the "beginning of months."
There is also another third New Year, though it is recognized in a different manner. Tu Bishvhat is the New Year for trees. (You have laws that govern the age of trees. You have to start counting somewhere.)
In other words, the civil year begins at one time, the religious year begins another. Tishri acually means "beginning."

(Exodus 12:1-2) -- Not only is it the beginning ("rosh" i.e. "head") of months, it is also the "first month of the year"; Association with "Tishri" happended during the Babylonian exile when the Babylonians celebrated their new year. Before the exile months were known by their numeric value, i.e. the first, second, etc.

Of course. Pagan influence is an issue. This is also why you find the first month called Abib in Exodus and Deuteronomy, and Nisan in Nehemiah and Esther. (Are we any better with January 1? Look it up.)
I am not by any means enough of a scholar to speak authoritatively on this, but I have been told there is a dispute in the Talmud over the date the civil year turns over. As in any debate over proper execution of a deed, somebody has to win. See Deut 17:9 and compare with Matt 23:1,2

I agree 100%. I've heard of the same rabbincal dispute over dates in the Talmud. I participated in a Rosh HaShana 5770 service and was amazed at the confusion in biblical doctrine that occured as a result of twisting the "first month" into the "seventh month" and the "seventh month" into the "first month". Example: (was) New Year-1st & Trumpets=7th; (now) New Year=7th & Trumpets=7th? It is very difficult at best to turn long standing traditions. It is always easier to make an individual change.

It may be easier in some cases for an individual to make his own decision, but it has to be weighed against the unity of the community.
It is interesting to me that while Jesus had a lot of disagreement with the religious leadership of His day, he reinforced their authority, as we see in:
Matthew 23:2-3
Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Yes, while Jesus acknowledged their seat, He Himself deliberately broke their additions and subtractions from the Torah, e.g. sabbath healings. Obedience is commanded only is as much as it is aligned with truth. As the scripture says, "Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment." (Ex. 23:2) Bending the truth is forbidden. Even Peter said "We ought to obey God rather than man." (Acts 5:29). That's my personal choice.

Jesus is saying in this matter that The scribes and pharisees sit in Moses seat- the place of authority, but they abuse their post. See Jesus ends: but do not ye after their works: for they say; and do not. Jesus is saying they quote the law to you, but they don't even follow it themselves so don't do the things you see them doing.

Yes, Rosh HaShanah is the day but which one is the question. In 1991 after praying and fasting I was to read the Bible again from the guidance of the Holy Ghost. I was shown the year 2008AD.. but no Zero between BC and AD.. which will make 2009 the 2008AD I believe it could be this year between Sept 18-20... Read Luke 21:28&38 from what Jesus said.

The moon also speaks of grace.
The door of grace (grace period) ends with the Rapture - as salvation from that point for tribulation depends not on salvation by grace through faith, but on martydom ->wise virgins (for a 2nd mid trib. rapture [for martyrs), note this is after the initial pre-trib secret rapture.
So the concealing of the moon makes sense in that it marks the start of a graceless time.

Oh, yeah ! I was just returning from church and just realized that in 2 days, the feast of trumps is comming !
However, if Christ is to come, He could come at the same month as Rosh if we consider the barley harvest which was harvest the same month and not necessary at the exact period of "Rosh" Just watch & pray. Guess what ? I took a day off for special attention ;-)

Good point, but wasn't the barely havest in the spring after Israel exited Egypt (Ex. 9:31) and was it not the product that was offered by the high priest was a wave offering to God on the Feast of Firstfruits (Lev. 23:1-14) which foreshadowed the resurrection of Christ and the saints (I Cor. 15:20). Take a look at Exodus 12:1-2 for when God calls the "rosh" or "head" of the year. "Tishri" is what Israel adopted as "rosh" when they were exiled in Babylon when the Babylonians celebrated new year.

Well, i'm french, and Israel time zone is quite identical to us, nevertheless all prophecy is time zoned to Jerusalem. The red moon could only be seen in Jerusalem of eg.
Let us not lose our faith if the Lord delayes his comming. His time is the best time for us cause He does not want to lose any of us ;-)
