i went there with my family last summer in august, the water was cold & the waves were INSANE so much fun though

Nice video. The water does take some getting use to, if you find it too cold, you should check out Echo Lake on the quiet side of the island, great little beach with warm water. I have several videos on the Bar Harbor Acadia national Park area as well.

I went there :) the waters VERY cold, i ran away form the water cause it's FREEZING!

@Copper389 i live in bar harbor, yeah, the water is freezing but once your body goes numb its not so bad, and try being here in the winter when temperatures get below 0, with about 4ft of snow on the ground, lol, it SUCKS

yea i went in august it was like 77 degrees there was some ppl swimming, but not me :)

The sound of the ocean is very powerful and beautiful there probably because of the elevated terrain that surrounds the beach.

My girl friend swim there but I stay at 100 feet of the beach, being sure that she didn't trow me some cold freezing water. IT hurt my feet walking in water. But the scenary is so beautiful, hicking is fantastic. It's my best park! Exept for water temperature lol

i swam there many times it is cold good waves sometimes really nice when it is really hot usually alot of people there those days of summer alot swim to scuba
